Two respectable efforts last year but has run poorly this time around and despite tumbling handicap mark has it all to do in this lowly grade.

Battled home to score at Nottingham last month and clearly something amiss when ran porly last time. Has chance on his winning form and one of the more likely contenders.

Two course wins under his belt but they were both six years ago! Went very close here last term and didn't get the run of the race last time, so despite his advanced years should be thereabouts.

Having his 147th start and has won 15 times. Grand servant who has been in decent form of late and won on last visit to this track in August 2016. Solid chance.

Long losing run and not really done enough in recent outings to indicate that run is about to come to an end today.

Still a maiden despite showing some form last term. Looked out of sorts on first start back this campaign here last week and would take a great leap of faith to recommend her on that basis.

Sprang a shock win at Carlisle last summer, her only success in 35 starts. Long losing streak since although not disgraced here last week on first start since a break.

Quiet run in first handciap race last time and remains unexposed. Probably of limited ability ut may have enough to improve and find a race, especially now stepping up in trip. One to consider.

Has done better on last two starts, including most recent run with cheekpieces applied. First time hood used this time and may be there or thereabouts at the finish.

Has been tried over a variety of trips and surfaces but still uncertain what her best distance is. Dissapointing last two runs at 8f and 12f, so connections split the difference now and will hope for the best.

Campaigned mainly on A/W and two runs on turf back in 2015 were instantly forgettable. Looks to have plenty on her plate and is hard to enthuse over.

Half-brother to US Grade 1 winner but has been bitterly disappointing in four starts to date. Would be a bg surprise if he suddenly turned over a new leaf.

Carries 6lb penalty after bolting up by seven lengths here last week. If in similar mood would take some stopping, so has to rate a leading candidate on recent evidence.

No stamina issues having won over further last time on turf at Lingfield. Interesting that a first-time hood is now applied, but has more going for her than most in this race and shoudl go well.

Formerly with Jeremy Gask. Ran satisfactorily at Windsor last time on first outing for veteran handler who may find a race for her and she should come on for that effort. One of the more interesting outsiders..

Forecasts

Bollin Ted (6/4), Lady Of York (9/2), Druid's Diamond (8/1), Flowers Will Bloom (8/1), Tin Pan Alley (14/1), John Caesar (16/1), Outlaw Torn (16/1), Judicious (16/1), Neptune Star (20/1), Bad Girl Caoimhe (20/1), Jennies Gem (20/1), Zacchetto (20/1), St Dunstan (20/1), Euro Mac (25/1), Little Pippin (25/1), Rock Of Monaco (25/1), Swiss Lait (50/1)

Verdict

Plenty of deadwood in this finale, but BOLLIN TED has to have a fine chance of following up last week's eyecatching win over C&D with only a 6lb penalty for his seven length romp. Lady of York also scored recently and rates a danger, and both St Dunstan and Druid's Diamond are expected to run with credit. Outlaw Torn is another with claims after a series of rock solid runs of late, while any market support for the well bred but so far disappointing Flowers in Bloom would be noteworthy.
  1. Bollin Ted
  2. Outlaw Torn
  3. Lady Of York
