0-18 over fences (rules and Point-to-Point), and not won over hurdles since his days with Philip Hobbs. His winning partner is back on board and requisite headgear is fitted. Should find this trip more to his liking after looking short of pace last time.
Without a win in three years, but has shown enough over this trip lately to suggest he could be a factor in this company.
Has never ben an easy ride and he has shown little appetite for chasing on his last two starts. Hard to recommend as a result.
Landed a couple of hurdles at Towcester last year and proved he stays well. Has checked out early on both starts following a layoff and he appears to have issues.
Second of three at Exeter in April and a modest fifth last time. Looks the type to do better over fences but remains hard to recommend on form.
Won a couple of minor races between the flags during the spring. Returned to chasing and made the mistake of trying to keep tabs with Fort Gabriel at Ffos Las. This looks easier and he is no forlorn hope.
Winning point-to-pointer but pulled up on both starts under rules. Needs to improve significantly for switch to a new yard.
Landed a decent point-to-point in 2013 but has never made the frame under rules. Has moved to a new yard who immediately apply headgear. One to check in the market.
Sole success came n a three-runner point-to-point. Form either side of that effort looks distinctly modest. Should be fitter for her latest run which came after a layoff, but has plenty to do from 4lb out of the handicap.
Winning point-to-pointer who has failed to complete any of his four races over regulation fences. Tailed off on last completed start over hurdles and races from out of the handicap.
Beaten 95L when left in second place last time. Looks out of his depth even in a race as poor as this.

Free Of Charge (5/1), Packettotherafters (11/2), Perfectly Willing (11/2), Solway Trigger (6/1), Tommy O'dwyer (6/1), Hardtorock (8/1), Bored Or Bad (8/1), Fled Or Pled (9/1), Classic Jewel (10/1), Ballygrooby Bertie (10/1), Lowcarr Motion (12/1), Island Rendezvous (16/1), Lanta's Legacy (28/1)
Hard to imagine a more moderate lineup for a contest of this nature around here and the market should prove informative. Tommy O'dwyer and Perfectly Willing are prolific winning point-to-pointers who could make their mark in this and both are better than their latest runs indicate. Free Of Charge takes the eye more for his powerful connections rather than anything he has achieved and we make BALLYGROOBY BERTIE our pick. His form has a patchy look about it, however his recent performances over this trip have a more solid look. If as effective here as he was at Hexham in May, then this would be within his reach.
- Ballygrooby Bertie
- Perfectly Willing
- Tommy O'dwyer
