Bounced back to form with a fine third-placed effort at odds of 66/1 at Royal Ascot last time, finishing ahead of his owners other runner who re-opposes here. He's the pick of the stable jockey and still relatively lightly raced so he should go well off the same mark provided he returns in the same form.

Stayed on well to finish second in a valuable contest at Ascot last time out and ran consistently well at Meydan this winter. Shaped like he will appreciate the step back up in trip last time and has to be considered off the same mark for a yard in fine form (six winners from their last 13 runners). Jockey has a 37.93% strike-rate when riding for this trainer.

Not won for over two years now and while he's working his way back down to a fair mark, there's probably others more progressive and 6f is probably his best trip.

Listed winner back in 2015 but out of form last year and showed very little on reappearance at Goodwood when last seen. Plenty to prove at present, especially off this sort of mark.

Returned to form last time out with narrow loss in an 18-runner contest at York. 7f on fast ground right up his street so has to be of interest if the ground continues to dry out and he ran well in this last year. Useful claimer takes off 5lb.

Won at Chester on final start of 2016 and running well in defeat since off his revised mark. Others look better handicapped and this probably his toughest test to date; looks opposable.

Very inconsistent sort and well beaten on latest three starts. Frustrating to follow and been a beaten favourite five times in his career already and needs a drop in the weights before he's of any interest.

Looked progressive last year but not in the same form on two starts for this yard and would appear to be better over a mile.

Has been in decent form this year and won two starts back at Newbury. Concern would be that all his form has come in softer conditions than this and probably a little vulnerable off this mark.

Has improved with every start for this yard and won well last time out, making all from the front at Pontefract. Not a whole lot of pace in this contest despite the size of the field and while he won't find it easy to dominate from the front; he's an interesting runner and clearly still progressing. Should go well under a 6lb penalty.

Has been in remarkable form this year, winning five of his last seven starts. Usually ridden for luck but gives the impression he's not done progressing just yet and 8lb rise in the weights is fair. Ought to go well.

Winner at Ascot last year off 2lb higher than this but out of form recently and better over sprint trips. First-time visor needs to spark major improvement.

Rattled off a hat-trick on the AW this winter but has struggled since, particularly back on turf and looks in need of either more relief from the handicapper or a return to the AW.
