From a yard that always do well with their juveniles this precociously bred type won on his debut at Southwell and showed he was just as capable on turf when finishing runner-up at Pontefract on his only others start in May. Well drawn here and likely to take a hand from an inside stall but does have to give weight all round.
Shaped well on his debut at Haydock when second of six over 5f on soft ground but was highly tried last time out in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and still looked in need of the experience. Should be able to do better in calmer waters although the draw is a slight concern.
Well drawn for his debut and nicely drawn for a stable that do well with their juveniles around here. He's closely related to a winner up to 7f George Rooke and half-brother to 5f/6f winner Pantella and looks as though he could take a hand here.
One of the most experienced in this field having had four runs over 5f and shown ability on all his start. The cheekpieces go on for the first time here in an effort to eke out some further improvement although it's possible his progress has reached a plateau for now and he's vulnerable to one if the improvers.
From a stable that has really found its form now with their juveniles although this one took a backward step from his debut run last time out. It may have been the ground (soft side) that saw to her chance last time out and can be given another chance here.
Stable are not really known for their two-year-old winners especially on debut and by Captain Gerrard out of a dam that won over 1m1f as a juvenile others are much preferred here.
Stable have had a very slow start to the season with their juveniles with just three winners to their name so far in this sphere. Half-sister to several winners including the two-year-old 5f winner Explosive Lady and might be worth looking at in the market.

Forecasts
June Dog (15/8), Jasi (5/2), Palmer (11/4), Ginbar (7/2), Gift In Time (4/1), Three Little Birds (5/1), W G Grace (17/2), Graphite Girl (20/1), Go Sandy (66/1)
Not an easy contest to open the card with none of the runners ticking all the boxes with Jasi having to give weight all round and Gift in Time dropping back in grade but not ideally drawn. Three Little Birds looks to have another placed chance and Palmer will have to show some improvement for the first time cheekpieces. In the end it may well be worth taking a chance with W G Grace back on a better surface and relatively well drawn here with Ginbar worth a market check for the Dascombe yard that do well here at Chester.
