In tremendous form, has twice won over this C&D recently and won with plenty in hand last time. Given a whacking 14lb rise for that, and may encounter softer ground if the rain gets in, so a harder task, but in such rude health he can't possibly be ruled out.
Just a hint of ability in a Southwell handicap hurdle last June and may have needed recent run after an absence at Cartmel. Early days with a yard that know the time of day, so needs a market check, but others preferred at this stage.
Did win on soft at Ludlow last year, so won't mind a drop of rain, but recent efforts unconvincing, trip is an unknown and yard are a bit quiet. Others more convincing.
Can take a hold in his races, so needs a decent pace to settle, and although on a decent mark on the best of his form (last win came from 7lb higher) recent efforts not that encouraging and he needs to bounce back to form. Some rain may help.
Rattled off a four-timer back in 2015 but no win since then, handicapper not cutting him much slack and is likely to need this run after an absence. Others hold stronger claims.
Very well handicapped on the best of his form, and second to the improving Theo here last time out was his best effort for some time. However, this trip and unknown and probably needs the rain to stay away too.
Infrequent winner (last coming in December 2015) that's probably needed both her last two runs after an absence. Not disgraced at Cartmel last time and interesting jockey booking but on balance, others preferred.
Stays this far and acts on most ground, so has that in his favour, but a long time since he won one (December 2015) and hasn't looked like rectifying the situation on recent starts.
Good handicap stayer on the Flat for William Haggas, hasn't translated that ability to hurdles yet but it's early days, and this step up in trip likely to suit. Not seen since January but nicely handicapped and worth a look in the market.
Came good at the first time of asking for his new yard, winning over C&D in June and that result can be marked up a bit as he raced prominently all the way (other front runners all fell away). 10lb rise asks new question but likely there's more to come.

Terry The Fish is in good order and will give it a good go for the hat-trick, but hes giving a fair bit of weight away to LIME STREET and that might just prove a step too far. The selection did well to win here at Uttoxeter last time given he helped push the pace all the way, and should have plenty more to come. Waltz Darling is hard to win with but could go well here under conditions likely to suit, and money for Dawn Missile would be interesting too.
