Listed winner at Ascot last year and likes to come off a strong pace in his races. Looks a little regressive currently though and merely past beaten rivals when seventh of 29 at Royal Ascot last time. Tends to struggle off top weight in handicaps and up against it here.
Just a maiden win at Leicester to his name but his effort in last year's Dante suggests he has plenty of ability. No real signs he's ready to return to form at Ascot last time out and needs relief from the handicapper.
Running well out in Meydan this winter but has struggled back on these shores after a promising comeback at Bath. Needs everything to drop right and this stall will be hard to overcome.
Won a class 3 contest at Haydock two starts back but struggled upped in class last time out and may struggle back on this sort of mark. Booking of De Sousa an obvious bonus but his inconsistency makes him hard to fancy.
Only seen twice last year but has managed to string a couple of performances together this time around, both of those efforts coming here and he justified favouritism on the latest of those efforts. Should go well again only up 5lb in the handicap.
Started this season in excellent form and while he's not won since his reappearance, he's ran well on a couple of occasions. Fair excuse last time when drawn on the wrong side at Royal Ascot and entitled to go well again.
Typically tough consistent sort for this yard but 8lb rise for his most recent success looks over the top an he duly struggled at Ascot last time. Retained jockey prefers him to Muntazah but may still struggle.
Highly tried after scoring over this trip on first start of 2016. Has been running over 1m2f lately but latest effort was disappointing when he appeared not to stay. Has had a break since and he goes well fresh so can't be ruled out back down in trip.
Won a Doncaster maiden on second start but not won since. Will have found the ground too soft at Newbury last time and gives the impression there's still some improvement to come so may do better here on faster ground.
Very inconsistent sort and not won since 2014. Placed here last time out but his very best efforts have come in softer ground and he's not sure to enjoy conditions here, particularly from this wide draw.
Useful sort on the AW but 0-10 on turf. Ran well on turf last time out at Newmarket though and reduced turf mark could prove lenient. Not dismissed if he can build on that with a useful 3lb claimer in the saddle.
Winner at Ayr on final start of last season and made all to win at Leicester last time. 11lb rise looks a little harsh for that effort though and won't find life easy from the widest draw of all.
Remains a maiden on turf but a close-up fourth off this mark over 1m2f (good to firm) at Windsor suggests he may have one in him off this mark on turf. Run at Newbury was a little disappointing last time out and needs to bounce back from that.

GEORGE WILLIAM can be forgiven his run last time out after an unfortunate pace bias gave him no chance at Royal Ascot last time out. Pactolus shouldn't be ruled out despite having a more consistent profile on the all-weather while El Hayem should appreciate the faster ground he will get here.
