Only win in 16 starts came at this track in April last year over 6f and off a 4lb lower mark. Wore cheekpieces for the first time at Yarmouth when eighth of ten last time and they are removed for this return to the AW on which he seems happier. Looks high enough in the handicap.
Lightly-raced sort whose form has improved dramatically since being gelded. Backed up a couple of placed efforts by winning easily over 1f further at Yarmouth last time, but has been raised 11lb and understandably runs here under a penalty. Clearly progressive and has to be considered.
Has won eight times in a lengthy career, but only one of those wins has come on the AW (at Newcastle). Favourite when second of eight at Wetherby last time and runs off 1lb lower which puts him in contention.
Without a win in ten starts but has run with credit on a couple of occasions since joining his current trainer and has slipped down to a viable handicap mark. Each-way claims,
Won twice on turf for Mick Channon, but has yet to get off the mark over a variety of trips for his new connections. Best run for this yard came at this track when a close fourth of eight in March and he is now 7lb lower. Has to be thereabouts if reproducing that form.
Has three AW wins to his credit, but has completely lost his way on the Flat and over hurdles. Needs to turn the tide if he is to land a blow and would also benefit from some help from the handicapper.
Showed promise on her only start for Simon Crisford in 2015 and the latest of four runs - a second a Yarmouth - for her current trainer following a season off was most encouraging. First-time blinkers were worn that day but, surprisingly, they are left off this time so hard to predict how she will go.
Got off the mark at the 12th time of asking when decisively winning a 15-runner 7f handicap at Lingfield last month. She had previously finished second over 1m at this track and a 6lb rise is fair. One for the short list.
Solid AW campaigner who has won one of her nine starts since joining her current stable from Andrew Reid. Last of 11 at Brighton last time, but the going was on the soft side that day and probably did not suit. Has little margin for error off her current mark.
Has only ever run on AW surfaces and registered his fourth career victory over C&D on his most recent start. A 3lb rise is not prohibitive and he looks one of the more likely contenders.
Still without a win in 15 attempts but has been knocking on the door in her last few starts, including when fourth of 14 over C&D in May. A reproduction of that effort off a 4lb lower mark would give her a solid chance in first-time blinkers.
Consistent mare who has been in good heart since the turn of the year. Ran another solid race when fourth of 11 at Musselburgh last time and is only 4lb higher than when successful over C&D in October. Has to be considered.
Has failed to hit the frame in eight starts, including on debut for her current trainer at Brighton last month. Hard to recommend until showing something more tangible.

An open handicap in which Cainhoe Star looks the most progressive performer but has to cope with a 6lb penalty for his recent Yarmouth success. He may well be capable of doing so and is much respected, but ROSIE CROWE has been running consistently well, has C&D form and is feasibly handicapped. She can make her presence felt, along with Caledonian Gold, who is weighted to go close, Misu Pete, Emily Goldfinch and Knight Of The Air.
