By top sprinter Lethal Force, he cost 20,000gns as a foal and £21,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to four winners. Already gelded, he was green when a distant last of four on debut at Pontefract and needs to take a huge step forward.
A close-up sixth of nine on debut at this track, he failed to back that up when 10th of 11 at Redcar next time. He will probably be more effective when campaigned in nurseries.
Makfi gelding who cost 13,000gns as a foal and 10,000gns as yearling. Dam is related to the high-class Showcasing. Shaped with a degree of promise when sixth of 10 over C&D on debut and should improve on that in a first-time tongue tie.
Medicean colt who cost 11,000gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to six winners. Ran respectably when third of six on debut at Hamilton and can be expected to improve over this extra furlong. One to note.
Paco Boy 9,000gns yearling who is a half-brother to AW scorer Lackaday and River Echo, a winner in the US. Stable can get one ready so this debutant shoud be checked out in the market.
Swiss Spirit 10,000gns foal who is a half-brother to 6f 2yo winner Waqaas. Was sent to Newmarket for his debut and, despite going off at 66-1, he led for a long way before finishing fourth of seven. Can improve and make his presence felt.
Raven's Pass 22,000gns 2yo who is a half-sister to five winners. Showed plenty of dash when third of 12 on her debut at Nottingham and, with improvement likely, she is a major player.
By successful Australian sire Foxwedge, she cost 15,000gns and is a half-sister to several winners including 2yo scorer Sleeper King. Respected stable not in a rich vein of form, but its juveniles are often dangerous to dismiss.
Havana Gold 16,000gns yearling whose dam was placed over 9f in Germany. Stable has had a couple of winners recently and this filly is worth a second look.
By Showcasing, she cost 9,000gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to three winners over a variety of distances. She dwelt at the start and was a never-nearer fourth of 12 at Nottingham on debut, but has 7L to find with third-placed Raven's Raft. Likely to improve.
Has shown little in runs at Beverley and Redcar and looks a candidate for nurseries further down the line.

Forecasts
Raven's Raft (11/8), Rockies Spirit (3/1), Just For Fun (9/1), Medici Oro (9/1), Super Major (16/1), Havana Heart (16/1), Foxy Lady (20/1), Fake News (22/1), Kentucky Blueblood (25/1), Situation (28/1), Makofitwhatyouwill (33/1), Plansina (80/1)
This looks the slightly weaker of the two divisions and any talented newcomer would have a say. The most likely on paper seem to be Fake News, Foxy Lady and Havana Heart, but on the form we have to go on, RAVEN'S RAFT looks the most probable winner. She had fellow debutant Just For Fun well behind when third of 12 at Nottingham and any improvement on that would give her every chance. Rockies Spirit shaped well on debut, too, and can figure, along with Medici Oro.
- Raven's Raft
- Rockies Spirit
- Medici Oro
