Well fended off in a pair of 7f maidens at Naas last month on varying ground types. Has to improve dramatically to figure here.

Some credible runs in Britain last year, has been disappointing in two runs for current yard however, despite being supported in the betting both times. Beaten 7L over 6f at this track on good ground last month.

War Front colt has been underwhelming in both runs so far, including on seasonal bow last month over a mile at Listowel. More needed but cannot be ruled out given connections.

Two runs over this trip at Gowran Park and Naas have offered precious little in terms of encouragement, may be one for handicaps.

May have found ground too soft on Gowran Park debut over 1m, improved on second outing over this trip on Dundalk's AW and can go well here assuming the ground remains decent.

Doesn't make great appeal on breeding and easily swept aside in pair of maidens already over 1m on debut and latterly over 6f here on good ground.

Stayed on over 6f here last month when beaten just over 5L, should do better over this trip and booking of Smullen is noted but needs to improve on form shown so far.

Fair run on return to action over 6f (good) here last month, beaten just over 3L into fourth of 17. First time tackling this longer trip and no surprise to see improvement on that reappearance effort.
Frozen Power gelding makes his racecourse bow this evening, yard without a winner over the previous 12 months and best watched with this runner seemingly.

Ran well on debut at The Curragh (1m, good) in May but disappointed ten days later. Interesting if returning to form here drooped back in trip.

Debut run for daughter of New Approach, yard without a winner in 72 attempts on turf, likely to have limited claims of a winning start unless vibes are strong.

Beaten ½L on debut at the Curragh over a mile on good ground in May, probably safe to put a line through subsequent effort at Listowel having stumbled when making her challenge. Should be in the shake-up.

Verdict

NEW TERMS made a good impression on debut at the Curragh when finishing second and must be forgiven a luckless second outing at Listowel. She was poised to thrown a big challenge there only to be impeded and stumble, effectively forfeiting all chance. She can get back on track and has the scope to win this. Perfect Soldier should appreciate this longer trip having stayed on in the closing stages on debut and the booking of Smullen ensures he is one to note. Barca is likely to prove better than we have seen in two runs while Dreaming Of Gold is another potential improver lurking.
