Well beaten from 2lb higher in two recent runs, having broken her duck over 1m at Brighton in May (good). That win came at the 21st attempt and he has never previously convinced over this far, so the percentage call is to take her on.
Yet to take a close hand in any of her eight starts and has never made the frame in any of those. Modest efforts in her two runs so far this season for Eve Johnson Houghton and now has her first run for this trainer with a further 2lb drop. Plenty to prove.
Handicapper appears to have over estimated her abilities given her first three runs in this sphere, but she is beginning to slip to a mark that her trainer should be able to work with. Market check is advised to gauge any increased confidence today.
Was well beaten over this trip on debut and has been comfortably held over both 7f and 1m since then in maiden company. Now goes handicapping and could be an entirely different proposition from a mark of 57. Market check strongly advised.
Has shown very little in three maidens and on her handicap debut here (1m, firm) last time. Has been put up 1lb in spite of that recent effort and looks up against it this time.
Showed bits of promise on occasions last season without making the frame in five runs. Began well this time, finishing in the money at at Brighton (7f, good) on her reappearance and also going close last time (good to firm) over the same C&D. Could well find improvement now upped in trip and looks a serious player.
Went close to winning a seller at Windsor on her second start last season and also ran well from 13lb higher in an All Weather handicap at Kempton. Has been tried over C&D (firm) this year when beaten just over 3L two starts ago from 1lb higher and looks to have frame claims.
Has failed to get competitive in any of her six starts and has now slid 12lb in the handicap after three runs since switching from maidens. Steps up in trip for this, but has all sorts to prove, including stamina, ability to handle the ground and ability to compete.
Has has quite a busy year to date and finally looked as though her trainer had something to work with when runner-up here, beaten 2L (C&D, firm) in first-time cheek pieces in May. Well beaten again last time, so supporters will have to hope that back on the same mark and the same track as that decent effort, she might return to form.

A contest that is very thin on competition and FANFAIR looks the safest bet. Richard Hannnon's three-year-old has been in decent form of late and should be able to find a bit more for this step up in trip. Bicolour has shown little in three maidens, but represents a top yard and it doesn't take much imagination to see her doing much better now handicapping. Sublime carries plenty of risks but if in the same mood as she was here in May then she has frame claims, along with Born To Please and Sheer Intensity, who has at least proved that she can win.
