C&D winner who makes his seasonal debut having been only lightly-raced over the past couple of years. He generally runs his race when he does make it to the racecourse, however, and has shown a liking for Tapeta, so could prove tough to beat if managing to contend with top-weight.
Formerly useful handicapper who has now not won since June 2014 and never on the all-weather. Has been running well over this trip recently, though, and looks well treated on the basis of the weight he carries here.
Beaten only 2L in a Redcar 7f claimer last month and could hit the frame once again here carrying a similar weight in a probably slightly weaker contest.
Won his first two starts for this yard towards the end of last year but has seen his form dip slightly so far this season. Needs to return to his best in order to get competitive here.
C&D winner but has been well held in handicaps of late and not much reason for encouragement now switching to claiming company on the basis of his recent performances.
Won over C&D on her second ever start but hasn't taken a race over shorter than 1m since and is likely to lack the tactical pace to challenge here, even off a low weight.

Forecasts
Sophisticated Heir (15/8), Joey's Destiny (11/4), Parkour (7/2), Rouge Nuage (4/1), Dark Confidant (11/2), Fidelma Moon (7/1), Spirit Of Gondree (100/1)
There are a few C&D winners in this field, which is encouraging for their chances over a trip that usually suits a certain type of horse, and ROUGE NUAGE is one of those contenders. Having shown a liking for this course in general, Conrad Allen's gelding is generally lightly-raced but almost always runs his race when he does turn up, and he looks capable of defying the biggest weight in the field here. Parkour steps up to 7f for the first time but has been running consistently enough recently to be of serious interest, while Joey's Destiny ran in some relatively high-quality handicaps in his prime and should also not be discounted.
- Rouge Nuage
- Parkour
- Joey's Destiny
