Unable to quite get competitive in recent forays into Group and Listed races, and now is eased in class. Has gotten involved in similar races to this in the past, but that was off a lower mark than this, and the pick of her form is on faster ground.
Took full advantage of a recent ease in class to finish second twice, either side of a convincing victory at Leicester. Current weight shouldn't be prohibitive but she has something to prove now moving back up to slightly more competitive company.
Narrowly beat Rebel Surge over this trip on similar ground at Haydock last time, but is now 3lb worse off at the weights with her reopposing rival. Has come up short at a lower level than this in the past though she will enjoy the conditions.
Hasn't been able to build on a maiden win in September 2015 since switched to handicap company, though she has run well in Listed company and now has her sights slightly lowered. Draw a plus at a course where it can pay to be drawn high.
Has been running well recently, including when not disgraced over C&D two starts ago. Looks on a fair weight and could go close again, especially if allowed an easy lead.
Two wins in France over similar trips to this but yet to win in Britain and hasn't looked up to handicaps of this level in the recent past. Others hold more convincing claims.
Won well on handicap debut last time to add a maiden victory at Doncaster during her juvenile campaign. Up 7lb but has shown she handles this kind of ground and is very lightly raced for her age, with further improvement likely.
Almost back down to her most recent winning mark having struggled with a high weight recently. Has an excellent record in softer conditions and is interesting over a trip which should definitely suit.
Formerly useful sprint handicapper but has been vulnerable to younger, more improving types in many of her recent races, and no surprise if that turns out to be the case again here.
Winner at Chester two starts ago but was helped by the way the race panned out and the draw that day, with this representing an altogether different challenge off a higher mark. Has disappointed at Pontefract since.
Forecasts
Sainted (11/10), Florenza (5/1), Rebel Surge (8/1), Alpine Dream (12/1), Summer Icon (12/1), Courier (12/1), Fourth Way (12/1), Yeah Baby Yeah (14/1), Invermere (14/1), Maggie Pink (20/1)
The lightly-raced SAINTED could have plenty more to offer here. William Haggas' filly has only had three races in her life, despite being a four-year-old, and she has already shown she handles soft conditions very well. A progressive type, her only defeat in three races so far came after a long absence when she raced far too keenly, and she retains significant potential, albeit facing her steepest challenge to date. Invermere is back down to a workable mark now and is feared most, ahead of recent Haydock scorer Courier.
