Listed winner over 1m at Lingfield on the AW in April and highly tried since including when last of ten in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in May. Wore a visor for the first time when finishing well beaten in a valuable 7f handicap at the same course earlier this month and steps back up to 1m here.
Broke his maiden at the second time of asking on the AW over 1m at Chelmsford last December. Only start since came when finishing fourth over 1m2f at Sandown (good) on handicap debut in April and this drop in trip shouldn't inconvenience with cheekpieces fitted for the first time today.
In good form when finishing in the frame twice last October but disappointing twice since being gelded earlier this year. Handicap mark is falling as a result and this looks less competitive than the two Newmarket handicaps he's contested so far in 2017.
Debut winner at Salisbury (soft) over 7f in June 2016 but disappointing since then. Finished last of six over 1m2f at Goodwood (good-to-firm) earlier this month and drops back in trip for this contest.
Wolverhampton maiden winner on the AW over an extended 1m in early January. Ran well next time out when finishing ½L fourth of 16 over 1m at Ascot (good-to-firm) and ran a fair race when fifth on soft ground at Doncaster last time.
Winner at Newmarket in May and ran well in a valuable handicap at Haydock subsequently. Followed that up with a victory on good-to-soft ground over 1m at Haydock a fortnight and interesting to see how he fares here having been raised 4lb for a head success.
Placed over 7f on his seasonal debut in a maiden at Doncaster (good) in April prior to winning at the third attempt when odds-on for a Leicester (soft) 7f maiden last month. Remains open to improvement as he makes his handicap debut from 1lb out of the weights here.
Forecasts
To Dibba (1/1), Naseem (4/1), Auberge Du Lac (5/1), Fire Brigade (6/1), Law And Order (16/1), Novoman (22/1), Jackhammer (25/1)
NASEEM broke his maiden over this 1m trip prior to disappointing over further last time out. Fitted with cheekpieces for the first time the selection can register a second victory in four starts dropping back in trip here. Last time out winner To Dibba is another to note having impressed in a maiden contest on soft ground last time out while Haydock winner Fire Brigade can claim third off his revised mark here.
