Well held on his first run for this yard at Windsor last time although he wasn't particularly fancied in the market. Still features off a mark that is above his last winning one and may be best watched here.

Very at home over C&D having won three times over it and turned in a career best here last time out when winning with cut in the ground (back down to his last winning mark). Has failed to back-up good runs before though and a small rise here takes him back to a mark he's been beaten off before.

Stable have had a good run this year this C&D winner must enter calculations off the back of his last run when he second at Thirsk. He has slipped in the weights of late and may now be ready to take advantage of his falling mark.

His mark finally fell to a level where he had to win on the AW and he did just that with two wins at Southwell and then took advantage of his lower turf mark to score at Beverley. Ran well subsequently but was found out by the 6f trip last time and will probably be better blasting from the front over this 5f.

You have to go back to Southwell in January to find his last win but did run well last time out at Chepstow on similar ground to that he will find here. Hard to leave out of calculations if he repeated that run here in a relatively open and competitive race.

Forecasts

Rainbow Orse (2/1), Crosse Fire (3/1), Bonjour Steve (3/1), Flash City (9/2), Shackled N Drawn (6/1), Razin' Hell (13/2), Wiley Post (12/1), You're Cool (14/1)

Verdict

Quite a few of these can be given a chance with a couple running off lower turf marks one of those being Razin’ Hell coming back from a break with Crosse Fire looking better back over this 5f trip. Rainbow Orse needs to be respected at his best venue but his form can be a little in-and-out. Shackled N Drawn drops in class but with the ground an unknown Bonjour Steve and FLASH CITY are preferred with the latter now looking on a very good mark.
  1. Flash City
  2. Bonjour Steve
  3. Shackled N Drawn
