Acts on good ground although has a penchant for some cut underfoot and may still get that here. Dropped 2lb and also in grade for this and looks capable of putting his latest run behind him and getting much more closely involved from this mark.
Runner-up in a couple of maidens for William Haggas last year (6f/7f, good) and has repeated the feat in his last two handicaps for current yard. Handles soft ground and may well remain competitive despite a 3lb rise.
Has been keeping better company than this in recent times, albeit it struggling to make an impact. Showed signs of a revival when sent off at 25-1 last time and beaten less than 3L over 6f. Drop in trip gives him a further question to answer, but won't mind any rain and a market check is suggested.
Has quickly developed into a consistent performer, though was consistently a runner-up until scoring at Carlisle (6f, good) last time. Carries a penalty for that, but is less exposed than most here and should be capable of making an impact. Some concern over the trip, with his only flop so far being over this at Musselburgh.
Won on debut at Beverley (5f, soft) in July but has not really threatened to add to that success since stepped up to this trip for five further starts. Handicapper beginning to relent and was entitled to need his reappearance after being gelded, so could do better now.
Won a seller for Richard Hannon and then scored on his debut for this yard here over 6f (good) earlier in the month. Well beaten from this mark under a penalty last time and headgear now tried, but has just a bit to prove.
Sole success was over 1m at Newcastle (AW) in the winter from 2lb lower and has gone close in a Redcar seller (6f, good to firm) and more recently a Wolverhampton handicap (6f, AW) from 1lb lower. Could be competitive, though others make more appeal.
Back to form at Catterick last time (5f, soft), adding to his three previous wins over today's trip. 3lb higher today and should be capable of going close once again. Won't mind any rain.
Both turf wins were on good ground and over this trip in 2014/2015. Now 13lb lower than the last of those, he is 2lb out of the handicap here and although he has a C&D win to his name it is not easy to envisage a repeat on this occasion.

Hee Haw has become a model of consistency and as an unexposed runner will understandably be popular. However, his only poor run so far was when dropped to this trip and he is taken on with the dropped-in-grade DANDYLEEKIE, who has plenty of form to suggest that he will be tough to beat. Manshood and Lackaday are others for the short-list, while money for either Naples Bay or Kenny The Captain would be very interesting.
