Ran an excellent race to run Stepper Point close in April but has disappointed since and a hood goes on. Without a win since October 2015 and landed this contest in the same year. Has obvious claims on his best form but he looks a risk at present.
Finished clear of the third when going close at Goodwood last time. Seems more effective over 6f and 0-7 at this trip. A further 3lb rise in the weights requires him to produce a career best effort in order to land this.
Finished behind Pettochside at Goodwood but is now 6lb better off with about 5L to find. Should come on for that run but the quicker ground will count against him.
Having his fourth run of the month but holding his form well. Looked a challenging ride when persuaded by today's pilot to get up close home at Chepstow. Apprentice ridden on both starts since but may need further than this nowadays.
Has only beaten one home in his last three starts to earn a drop in the weights to a mark just 1lb higher than his Bath success in October. Looks unreliable at present and others are preferred.
Put a couple of poor efforts behind him when third at Ripon last week. Upped in class and 0-9 in this grade. Faces a spoiler for pacemaking duties with Pettochisde in the lineup.

Forecasts
Pettochside (2/1), Intibaah (7/2), Satchville Flyer (4/1), Edged Out (4/1), Waseem Faris (11/2), Pearl Noir (7/1), Burning Thread (14/1)
With most of these looking in need of further or having proven themselves unreliable then EDGED OUT has the credentials to follow-up her recent record breaking C&D success. She benefitted from trouble behind that day but her proven wellbeing and ability to lie up with a strong pace will be key to landing this. A 6lb penalty looks harsh at first glance but her rivals hardly strike as being in form or on the right side of the handicapper at present. Pearl Noir and Pettochside will take each other on up front whilst Satchville Flyer will be doing his best work late. The latter is a difficult ride who hangs under pressure and may find this trip too sharp.
