In very good form in 2016 and visited the winners enclosure three time and should go well here after his recent reappearance at Haydock over a shorter trip. Looks a likely player here for a stable that won this in 2009 with Overrule.
Certainly looks one for the shortlist here even more so now after his run at Ayr recently where he shaped well and looked as though he was ready to score soon. He's slipped a 1lb below his last winning mark now and that makes him of even more interest.
Not seen since April when he ran a disappointing race on the AW at Kempton Park having previously gone well on synthetic surfaces over the winter scoring four times. Yet to score on turf though and has picked a strong contest in which to try and break his turf duck.
Form continues to be rather in-and-out and if anything more of the latter than the former. The losing streak continues to build although the handicapper is giving him a chance now and not totally written off here.
Consistent sort who did well last season peaking with a win at Hamilton over a little further than today's trip and his reappearance run may well have put an edge on him. Does need to improve to win off this mark though which is 3lb above his highest winning one.
Took a Windsor handicap last time and that showed that he had come on for his reappearance run. Only gets a 4lb rise for that success and should be able to cope with this and the blinkers that he won in last year return here (wore cheekpieces last time).
Looks to have been knocking at the door of late taking the runner-up slot on his last two starts although edging up the handicap without winning. Should be able to enter the equation again but does just have to find a bit more improvement from somewhere.
His second on his first start of the season at York was a run that was full of promise but he's struggled since then in a couple of runs. Still 5lb above his last winning mark and would need to put those last two runs behind him.
Running well enough and his second last time out at Kempton over 1m4f was creditable enough but the fact remains that he hasn't scored since his juvenile campaign.
Connections will be praying for rain as this one loves to get his toe in and he took advantage of the ground and a falling mark to score over C&D last time out. Still 2lb below his highest winning mark he remains fairly treated and looks likely to run well again here.
Hard to say he's progressive but his form of late has taken a turn for the better and his last two starts have shown him in a very good light. Probably needs to take another step forward here but can't be ruled out given his latest form.
Last season's form would put him in with a chance here but he's not really fired yet this term and was well beaten last time going backwards from his reappearance.
Got off the mark for career/year when landing a small field Bath handicap last month but could never really get involved when in a much stronger race at Goodwood last time . Needs to raise her game again here and the wide draw won't really be of much help.
Hasn't really caught fire at all this year which is disappointing as the stable has been in good form for the past couple of months. Won on heavy ground at Ayr last year so won't mind any precipitation that falls.

Forecasts
Mukhayyam (11/2), I Am Not Here (6/1), West Drive (13/2), Swaheen (7/1), Dance King (8/1), Panko (8/1), Hollywood Road (10/1), Admiral's Sunset (11/1), Fleeting Visit (12/1), Energia Fox (12/1), Tamayuz Magic (14/1), Chancery (16/1), General Hazard (22/1), Buonarroti (25/1), Dolphin Village (25/1), Multellie (40/1), Purple Rock (50/1)
A big field as you would expect go to post for the Plate and there are plenty that are in with a chance here on their best form although a couple would quite like to see some rain fall with Swaheen being one of those as he bids to back-up his C&D win. Mukhayyam is another running to a consistent level with Panko and Multellie looking to step up on recent runs and very much respected. West Drive must enter the equation but he’s got a wide draw to overcome and I Am Not Here is preferred after his run last time which looked to set him up for this. All in all though DANCE KING is on a decent mark and is shaping well of late and if he avoids the trouble which spoilt his chance at Ayr he’s got a solid chance of landing this.
