10,000gns foal, rising to £15,000 as a yearling. First foal of a 1m½f AW winning half-sister to useful 1m2f-1m4f Flat winner Penhill, out of an unraced half-sister to US 1m4f Grade Two winner Herboriste. Yard normally at around 10% with its juveniles on turf, but 0-9 so far this season.
Last of 11, beaten 16½L on debut at Thirsk (6f, good) earlier in the month. Step up in trip should be a positive and blinkers may also help, but one to watch in the hope of some improvement this time.
Made a marked improvement for his Newmarket debut when running into the frame at Hamilton (6f, soft) earlier in the month. Another for whom this extra furlong looks likely to prove positive, so should be thereabouts.
Took a good step forward for having made his debut when stepped up to this trip at Haydock (good) last time out, when sent off at 66-1 and beaten 3½L. Likely to do better over further and is probably one to consider more strongly when going handicapping.
Has shown a similar level of form in all three starts to date over both 5f and 6f, all on good to firm. Extra furlong may help, though looks the type to do better when handicapping.
Went close when stepped up to 6f (good) at Brighton last time out, though she was a beaten favourite on that occasion. Nonetheless, she handles fast ground and a repeat of her latest outing would make her tough to beat.
Well beaten on debut, but did not make the anticipated improvement last time at Pontefract and has plenty to prove going into this.

Forecasts
Arabian Jazz (11/10), Rampant Lion (3/1), If We Can Can (7/2), Poet's Dawn (4/1), Jaffar (13/2), Duke Of Freedom (20/1), Hamba Moyo (40/1), Boss Koko (50/1)
Arabian Jazz will be popular after going close on each of her last two starts, but she may be vulnerable to others with greater potential improvement in them, one of whom could be RAMPANT LION. Mark Johnston's colt has so far raced only with cut in the ground, but pedigree suggests that he should be find on the forecast faster going and the step up in trip looks a good move. Stablemate If We Can Can may be next best.
