Has run well in pair of handicaps already this term and races off a 1lb mark here so has claims. Both those runs came on much softer ground than is forecast tonight and that ranks as a concern given previous runs on firm ground.
Excellent effort over 7f (good) at Fairyhouse on the first of this month when close fourth off this mark. Didn't repeat it however at Listowel in similar conditions over same trip and was again well held over 1m at Limerick ten day ago on good to firm ground. More required now.
Beaten just over 10L at Navan this month on return to action over 1m. Just the six runs so far but evidence shown suggests this handicap mark may be a bit on the high side for now.
Some moderate promise shown in maidens last year, will be returning from 244 days on the sidelines now and needs a bit more on return to handicaps / first start for this yard.
Lightly-raced and produced career-best for this rider at Gowran Park (1m1f, soft to heavy) 22 days ago when winning well. Up 6lb for that effort but every chance there is a bit more to come on just seventh start.
Remains a maiden after 16 starts but the recent signs have been much more encouraging, including when beaten 2¼L over 1m½f at Cork (good to firm) last time out. Handicap mark has slipped to a very winnable level now.
Well beaten in three maidens but ran commendable race over 1m at Gowran Park (soft to heavy) this month on handicap debut. Gets 2lb back now and booking of Heffernan won't do the cause any harm at all. Interesting contender.
Poor in both runs this season and yet to run into a place in seven career starts. There are few positives at the moment and so looks best watched here.
Well held in three maidens so far but always looked set to be of more interest when going handicapping so is worth a market check in this.
Well beaten in three starts in maiden company and on handicap bow at Navan last month (1m2f, good). Has plenty to find here from 1lb lower mark.

Forecasts
Les Arceaux (11/8), Claregate Street (9/2), Happy Company (5/1), Misty Mountain (5/1), Boom Or Bush (11/2), Pronounced (7/1), Greenpanda (10/1), Silk King (10/1), Future Frontier (12/1), Remember Nerja (16/1), Alfred Wegener (20/1), Aunty Audrey (25/1), Pink Jeanie (33/1), Famous Beauty (33/1), Jock Talk (40/1)
LES ARCEAUX appeared to win with plenty in hand last time out at Gowran Park and could prove up to defying his 6lb rise for that success. He's likely to be meeting much firmer conditions underfoot this evening, but should handle the likely going without issue. Claregate Street has gone well in both handicap start so far and ought to do so once more while Misty Mountain's last time out second at Cork has been boosted by the winner scoring again since. Both of those contenders should be winning races soon. Pronounced is down to a very workable mark and has shown better form lately while Silk King showed up well on recent handicap debut and has a positive jockey booking now.

- Misty Mountain
