Beaten 8L over an extended 1m3f when making his debut at Haydock (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Likely to appreciate this slight step up in trip and an interesting runner here.
Finished a well beaten third behind an impressive winner over 1m2f at Newbury (soft) when making his debut last month. Subsequently finished runner-up over C&D again on soft ground and likely to prove hard to beat if handling the better ground forecast today.
Unraced son of Kendargent and a half-brother to the Group 3-placed London Stripe. Is his trainers first runner at this track and worth a check in the market on debut here.
Well beaten in two maiden races at up to 1m1f so far including at Lingfield (good-to-firm) last time. Probably best watched here.
Forecasts
Dark Pearl (1/2), Assiduous (11/4), Normandie Attack (7/1), Everlasting Sea (50/1)
DARK PEARL attempted to make all when finishing runner-up last time out and he sets the standard here. With just four runners in this the selection is likely to be able employ similar tactics here and can get the better of Assiduous who ran well when making his debut at Haydock earlier this month. Normandie Attack is likely to fare better of the remaining two runners and can claim third ahead of Everlasting Sea.
- Dark Pearl
- Normandie Attack
- Everlasting Sea
