In the last four years, Sir Mark Prescott is two from three at this meeting, with winners in 2013 and 2015, both sent off favourite. If NEWT, decides to make the running here, he could find the possibility of trouble in behind from the likes of, third last time out, Plato's Kode and the improving, Marcus Tregonning-trained, Imphal. The selection stayed on gamely last time out when winning over C&D at 7/2 co-favourite, will be shorter tonight, with 5lb extra, but will still take all the beating.
