Limited promise in maiden company and last of seven at Wetherby on handicap debut over 1m6f on good ground last month, before getting off the mark here over C&D earlier in the month, where he had three of these behind in a 1¾L win.
Beaten over 10L when finishing fifth upped to 1m2f for the first time at Salisbury in May and well beaten, impression in a Redcar maiden handicap over 1m6f, before finishing sixth of nine, over 1m4f at Chepstow. Now tried at 1m5f, one that can not be followed with any confidence.
Best effort in maiden company came when 13½L fifth of seven over an extended 1m3f at Yarmouth and well beaten, no impression on handicap debut, before finishing over 4L behind Newt last time out.
Maiden after eight starts but ran well upped to 1m4f for the first time at Chepstow on good-to-soft last month, before finishing over 2L behind Newt last time out.
Well beaten in three maiden races over 7f last year, though shaped well on seasonal debut behind Newt when second of six. Meets the winner on 4lb better terms for that 1¾L defeat.
Second of two runners from the Irish stable tonight, though well beaten on all five career starts so far. Steps up 3f from anything he has previously run over.

Forecasts
Newt (6/4), Imphal (5/2), Plato's Kode (4/1), Air Ministry (8/1), Sheila's Fancy (12/1), Tenby Two (14/1), Downtown Rebel (14/1)
In the last four years, Sir Mark Prescott is two from three at this meeting, with winners in 2013 and 2015, both sent off favourite. If NEWT, decides to make the running here, he could find the possibility of trouble in behind from the likes of, third last time out, Plato's Kode and the improving, Marcus Tregonning-trained, Imphal. The selection stayed on gamely last time out when winning over C&D at 7/2 co-favourite, will be shorter tonight, with 5lb extra, but will still take all the beating.
- Newt
- Imphal
- Plato's Kode
