Stable 0-10 with its runners here but this decent handicapper has claims and ran better than his finishing position indicates when squeezed out at Sandown last time. Although he has plenty of weight, he rates one for the short list.
Yard in fair form at present and ran a solid race last time at York. Probably wouldn't want the ground too quick, but should be thereabouts.
Made all to win here a fortnight ago over 10f and raised just 3lb for that fine effort. Expected to set off in front once again but will need to be on the top of his game to stay there in better race.
18 races without a win since joining current yard but has faced some stiff tasks, inlcuding in Meydan during the winter. Disappointing though last time at Lingfield and others make more appeal.
One mile appears his optimum trip - he scored a that trip at Wetherby last time - and questionable whether the extra furlong here will play to his strengths. Been a grand servant over the years though and cannot be completely ruled out.
Stable hit purple patch when he won here over a mile two weeks ago. 4lb higher now and extra furlong not sure to suit, so others are preferred.
Has moved to back to the same mark from which he was last successful 11 months ago and has run well without troubling the judge on his last two starts. Decent apprentice a plus, and likely to be in the thick of the action.
Placed three times from five starts at this course and looked in need of the run when disapointing here on his seasonal return two weeks ago. Should strip fitter and market worth noting in case of any support.
Won Brighton maiden for Charlie Appleby back in 2015 but has shown very little since joining current yard. Beaten a long way on all three turf starts this term and is hard to fancy.

Sands Chorus (5/2), Mulligatawny (7/2), Carnageo (5/1), Jacbequick (11/2), Alejandro (6/1), Boots And Spurs (6/1), Magic City (9/1), Beach Bar (18/1), Salmon Sushi (25/1), Mansfield (50/1)
JACBEQUICK is a tentative choice in a well contested handicap. He looks weighted to go well and has a good young rider on board. Top weight Alejandro should be thereabouts if getting the rub of the green, something that was noticeably absent on his most recent start, and Salmon Sushi may well improve on his recent return to the fray, so has to be respected. Others worth a second glance include recent course winner Sands Chorus, Muligatawny, and the first-time blinkered Carnageo.
- Jacbequick
- Salmon Sushi
- Alejandro
