Noted staying on to take third here six weeks ago. Has been dropped in the weights since and has every chance of bouncing back.
Took advantage of a career-low mark to win on debut for this yard on the AW at Chelmsford over 7f (won with a bit to spare). Looked unlucky under a penalty next time before finishing well over shorter last week. Yard 4-13 in past fortnight and he looks hard to dismiss.
Without a win since 2014 and has dropped to a career low mark. Good effort to finish third here in April in a race that has worked out well, but his two latest outings cast doubts as to whether he can run to that level in this.
Without a win since 2013 and has failed to make the frame since September 2014. Stable have had a good year so far but hard to see this one deriving enough from his reappearance (last of 16) to be a factor here.
Won off higher last season but three runs this term have failed to reveal he is close to that level of form. Best watched for now unless the market is more positive.
Still to win in 14 starts but cheekpieces took him agonisingly close at Newcastle on his latest start. Trainer has a lower than expected 2-33 record around here.
Beat a subsequent winner on his return but has been held off the same mark and today's revised rating since. Yard's horses are going well.
Started 2016 in promising style before running as though something was amiss a year ago. Down the field on his return last week and hard to recommend until indicating his problems are behind him.
Ran a couple of 80+ rated horses close as a juvenile before finding soft ground against him on his last run of 2016. Looked unlucky on return before encountering soft ground again last time. Gets dropped to a mark of 68 for this with stable in form and jockey on board who has partnered their latest winners.
Winner of a couple of minor races for Richard Hannon before stable switch. Looked high enough in the weights last time and this trip could prove too far having barely stayed 6f.
Placed a couple of times for David Barron. Last of 10 on stable debut when the ground would have been unsuitable. Stable form is a significant positive.

Siege Of Boston and Kirkham represent yard that are going well and both have been racing at their peak recently. It would come as little surprise if either should land this but MONT ROYAL catches the eye towards the foot of the handicap. Ollie Pears' charge was an expensive purchase and looked to have a future when bumping into a decent pair of horses on his first two career starts. The ground has been a factor in two of his three defeats since but he caught the eye when running into trouble on his Pontefract return. The way he finished that day over 6f suggested he will have no trouble with this trip. The trainer/jockey combination have had a couple of well supported runners go in lately and this could be another.
