All nine career wins have come over 7f, was well beaten at Gowran Park over that trip off this mark already this month. May do better on what promises to be a better surface but high enough in the handicap currently.

Was a 7f AW Flat winner for Mark Johnston but yet to get his head in front for this yard and best turf efforts have come on faster ground than what he will get here. Beaten 11½L over this trip at the Curragh last month.

Excellent effort off this mark last time at Listowel when close third behind progressive winner Orangey Red. That was over 6½f but has winning form at this trip and cannot be discounted as such.

Was three from three and looking progressive since the blinkers were fitted, winning nicely over C&D last month, but that progress was halted over 1m2f at the Curragh last time out. Slow break did not help and drop in distance - coupled with 2lb relief - should assist here.

Really good efforts over a mile at Leopardstown either side of a break, latest seeing him finish under 2L second of 13 in April entitles the five-race maiden to sound claims of getting off the mark in this (Engaged 19:45 at Fairyhouse on Friday).

A winner at Galway last summer (1m½f, yielding to soft) off a mark of 69, he's found things tough enough going subsequently from increased rating. Well beat in three starts this term, two over 1m but inching back down the weights.

Remains a maiden after ten starts but shaped with some promise on return at Gowran Park (1m1f, soft to heavy) 12 days ago and could improve for the run.

Has been busy already this campaign with six runs under his belt. Dropped 4lb below previous winning mark now but no obvious hints he's ready to go in again.

Lightly-raced sort, had looked promising in two AW runs but flopped over 1m at Listowel this month in a turf maiden and something to prove now in first-time tongue strap. Shrewd yard and not to be written off too soon.

First Samurai filly, cost $90,000 as a yearling. Good second on debut behind the useful Hydrangea but disappointing in two further runs at the Curragh either side of a break. Latest of those was a 25L defeat in a 1m maiden last month, which leaves a bit to be desired but could prove better than that.

Winner of four of his five starts this year, going down a head in 1m Leopardstown handicap in sole reverse. Is rated 6lb higher than when landing Hamilton contest over extended mile on firm ground last month but 7lb claim ensures he is not going to be overlooked readily.

Fountain (1/1), Try Again (7/1), Shannon Soul (7/1), Snoozing Indian (8/1), Total Demolition (10/1), Have A Nice Day (12/1), Beau Satchel (12/1), Turbine (12/1), Geological (14/1), Collision Course (16/1), Sitting Bull (22/1), Madame Cherie (25/1)

Verdict

TRY AGAIN has been flying this year and once more showed his determination to get the job done with a gallant success at Hamilton last time out. The son of Dubai Destination gets assistance from his claiming rider here and the pair look set for another big run. Geological ran a super race last time at Listowel and merits consideration back up at a distance over which he's won before while Snoozing Indian can be involved despite a hefty hike for dead-heating last time at Leopardstown. Sitting Bull and Madame Cherie both some questions to answer but are respected coming from their respective yards and money behind either would be worth noting while Shannon Soul is respected having won over this C&D as recently as April.
