His last win came back in 2015 and he's been very disappointing this term in all four starts having performed below par all last year and others are preferred here.
Having third run for good small Newmarket yard. One win in 18 starts and is now down to his last winning mark. Closely matched with Pearl Noir on Ripon showing. May have had too much use made of him over an extended 5f last time and should give a better account here.
Consistent performer who has won five races. Has looked a fraction high in the weights since his success in February but a good 5lb claimer is on board here. Yard 2-6 in past fortnight and he will be suited by the stiff finish.
Made all to score at Ripon for his ninth career victory. Blew the start last time which was uncharacteristic and if getting on the front end he could be hard to pass.
Has finished last on all three starts this term and a hood now goes on. Undoubtedly well handicapped on her best form but appears one to be cautious about unless there is a positive market move.
In excellent shape at present but has something to find on form with Pearl Noir on Ripon running. Has exploited a lenient mark on the AW since and he will be bidding to string two victories together for the first time.
Landed a Yarmouth maiden in a race where the short priced favourite ran below form. Dropped in the weights after finishing in mid-division at Thirsk last time and needs to step up here. Trainer 0-26 at the track.
Scraped home at Catterick to give trainer an overdue winner. The front two finished clear of the remainder and a line through the fourth shows she is closely weighted with Ocelot. Goes well for today's pilot and she will get a nice tow into the race from Pearl Noir.
Beaten a long way on return from a layoff last time. Had been in good form at Southwell during the winter and has not raced on grass since 2015. Has plenty to prove at present.

Few of these can be dismissed and the presence of Pearl Noir may set this up nicely for Glyder, Entertaining Ben and BURTONWOOD. The former collected at Redcar last time when the front two pulled clear. Entertaining Ben was too keen at Brighton over a slightly longer trip and should be a different proposition here off a mark which brought him his last success. BURTONWOOD represents an in form yard and is a consistent performer who has paid the price by getting little respite from the assessor. A talented 5lb claimer helps address the need to find that extra couple of pounds and he gets the vote in a tightly handicapped race.
