Won on heavy ground at Listowel last September but still 5lb higher in the ratings. Poor effort on seasonal return was bettered at Leopardstown last week, so has to be respected as one that will cope with the conditions. Worth a betting check at least.
Just one one win from 37 previous starts is off-putting but she has fared well in a couple of outings already this season. Stepping back to 7f may help and she has gone close over C&D in the past, so no forlorn hope of making the frame at a decent price.
Made a pleasing start at Tipperary last May but soon went downhill. Acts on heavy ground but little to take from his recent return at Listowel and others make far more appeal.
Revelled in the rain-soaked conditions to win an apprentices handicap at Gowran Park last week but has been hit with a 10lb hike and not certain to flourish back over 7f. Tough task ahead on face value but this lacks strength in depth so no surprise to see him follow up.
Acts on heavy ground and had winning form in modest handicaps for his previous yard. Form not so great since joining his current set up, though. Others readily preferred.
Registered one win a season for the last three years, so been very much a matter of catching her right. Handily treated just now and holds Aussie Bound judging by their encounter at Listowel. Interesting if supported.
Not won a penny in prize-money from nine previous starts and given that he was readily outpaced in similar company last time, he looks easy to oppose once again.
Had been off since November 2013 until he made an inauspicious return at Gowran Park last month. The gut feeling is to leave hi well alone from a betting perspective.
Up 7lb for last week's win at Gowran Park and now needs to register a personal best. Also has something to prove over this intermediate trip. Another faced with a tough assignment.
Last won in selling grade for one of his former yards but has raced ostensibly on the AW at Dundalk in recent times. Best form on turf achieved with some give underfoot but may not want the ground too heavy.
Getting the hang of things in handicaps and much less exposed in this sphere than many of the rest. Just 4lb higher after winning at Cork last time out and feasible chance of following up if handling the conditions.
Form in maidens was just ordinary for her former yard. Switches to a new stable after a less than inspiring debut in a handicap last time out. Interest may be rekindled by the new surroundings but hard to see her finding the necessary improvement need to figure here.
Not the most consistent but posted a good effort last time out - holds a couple of these on a literal reading of the form and entailed to respect. Sound claims if the 10-y-o can reproduce the effort tonight.
0-21 so far and has plenty to prove if the ground is truly heavy. other make far more appeal.
Best effort to date over 1m on the AW at Dundalk; recent form has more miss than hit and needs to improve greatly for the fitting of blinkers.

Likely that Punches Pious will around the head of the market after blitzing his field at Gowran Park earlier in the month; and even with a 10lb hike in the weights, he has to merit an interest. However, a chance is taken that ASPEN BELLE has more to offer now she has proved herself capable in a handicap and get the slenderest vote of confidence. Loughderg Princess and Lady Ranger are closely matched judging by their encounter at Listowel - the latter can be fancied to be a bit sharper after a couple of recent spins and gets the nod to reverse the form and is worth bearing in mind as an each-way option at sporting odds.
- Aspen Belle
- Punches Pious
- Lady Ranger
