Needs to show something else compared to his performances in maidens, but has seemed better on a sounder surface so far and the step up in trip certainly shouldn't inconvenience him.
Played only a minor role in three maidens but looked to be running over an insufficient trip on those occasions and may be able to do better now switched to handicap debut.
Has run some solid races in both maiden and handicap company up until now, and is down 2lb from when not being beaten far at Yarmouth in May. Step up in trip should suit and he looks to be a leading contender.
Has beaten only two horses home in three races so far, but has shaped much better over 1m2f than 1m and is fitted with a visor for the first time, with a top jockey up for the first time.
Only moderate form in his career so far despite an decreasing handicap mark. Runs over an intermediate trip for the first time but that seems unlikely to make the necessary difference.
Slightly better last time when returning to a sounder surface at Lingfield, and is dropped 3lb by the handicapper. Wears first-time blinkers and needs to take a step forward but has potential in this sorts of races going forward.
Makes his turf debut having failed to show any improvement on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time out. Down 1lb following that but doesn't look particularly progressive and is probably best watched.
Didn't show too much in three maidens but looks to be on a fair mark for his handicap debut and goes for some respected connections. Interesting over a trip which should suit.
Ran a fair race on debut but only moderate form since. Steps up in trip now and should be on a fair mark compared to some other handicap debutants in the field, but still needs to show significant improvement.
Hasn't managed to improve her form since starting off in handicaps despite showing some ability at points. Dropped a useful 4lb now but doesn't have a particularly progressive profile.
Put in a better performance on handicap debut at Beverley last time and is now 2lb lower the weights. Ground is fine, but the drop down in trip is a slight concern.
Yet to finish better than eighth in any of his races and his mark is lowered again now. Blinkers are also applied but seems a unappealing proposition nonetheless.
Ran a great race to finish second at Bath last time (1m2f, firm), and could have gone closer if not hanging inside the final furlong. Up only 1lb and has to have a big chance here if able to replicate that performance from a higher draw.
0/10 in his career so far and hasn't looked particularly like he's about to win a race, especially on his recent starts. Finished ahead of Peking Flyer at Wolverhampton last time but will need to do more to challenge here.
No better on handicap debut in September compared to three moderate runs in maidens and is very difficult to fancy now stepping up in trip, especially after a fairly long lay-off.

This a competitive-looking race but the tentative suggestion is PITCH HIGH, who has been running consistently well in both maiden and handicap company, and now finds himself lower in the weights than when going relatively close at Yarmouth in May. He shaped as if this step up in trip would be perfect for him there and can improve for the longer distance here. He is taken to see off Think So, who looks potentially well-handicapped, and the filly Sublime, who ran very well at Bath last time despite hanging left at a crucial point in the race.
