Out of form since winning over 6f at Southwell in January, poor on return to turf at Nottingham (5f, good to soft) 15 days ago and looks best watched for now.
A former C&D winner, he's just 2lb higher than when going close last month at Nottingham and cannot be ruled out. Winner over this trip at Southwell in April.
Filly has won a maiden over C&D but that came in December 2015 little sign of a follow-up since. Returns here from 153-day layoff and has plenty to prove.
Former C&D winner, latest win coming here in March. Second of ten in handicap over C&D eight days ago, adopting front running tactics and looks capable of another bold bid.
Has an excellent record at this track, winning five times over the C&D, was sent off at 40/1 eight days ago on return from almost a year off and never threatened though is entitled to come on a lot for that run.
Just the one win from 12 starts so far, didn't run badly over this trip at Linfield last time and could take closer order now from 2lb lower mark.
Mare gained sole AW success over this C&D in April 2015, form generally below par since and well beaten off at Bath last month on return to action. Best watched unless the market speaks in her favour.
Rattled up a seven day double on the AW during March at Chelmsford and here (both 5f), and not disgraced from higher marks since switched back to turf. One to consider back on this surface.
Veteran has not won previously won on the AW and without a win of any sort in 20 runs stretching back to 2014. Well held on return at Bath last month and hard to make a case here.
Best effort came in taking third over this trip at Chelmsford when attempting to make all in February but remains a maiden after 22 starts and is now rated 5lb higher than that effort. Lot to ask on current terms.
Forecasts
Dashing Poet (7/2), Vale Of Flight (7/2), Cruise Tothelimit (4/1), Krystallite (11/2), Borough Boy (8/1), Elusivity (10/1), Lucky Clover (12/1), Your Gifted (40/1), My Meteor (80/1), Barnsdale (150/1)
CRUISE TOTHELIMIT went well in first-time blinkers here recently, just failing to make all. With a good draw and a useful claimer to add this cause, he might well go one better this time. Dashing Poet, who brought up a double here in March having also scored over this trip at Chelmsford, is respected back on this surface having performed well off higher marks on turf since. Borough Boy and Vale Of Flight make most appeal from the remainder.
- Cruise Tothelimit
- Dashing Poet
- Borough Boy
