Did well with give underfoot last year so conditions won't be a problem here and his return at Doncaster last month was very creditable. Comes here on his last winning mark with the cheekpieces back on.

Enjoyed a very good 2016 with four wins against his name the last one over 6f on heavy ground in October so conditions here won't be a problem. Has made a good start to this year with a couple of runs catching the eye especially his fourth at Wetherby last time out.

Both wins came on over 6f last year (one on soft) and has returned in good form this year with two runs over a mile at Doncaster and Ayr. Failed to reverse the Doncaster form with Nicholas T last time out despite being better off at the weights but travels strongly and will be more at home back over this 6f trip even off a 5lb higher mark than his last winning one.

C&D winner from 2lb higher last September on heavy ground off a mark of 75 and has shown up well on all her starts this year with the best of them being the last one. That resulted in a very creditable fifth without ever really being allowed to open out and the form has been given a solid look by the subsequent wins of the third Tumblewind.

Yet to win a race although he has shown some solid enough form in AW maidens in Ireland over a mile. Ran a sound enough race on turf last time out at Leopardstown off this same mark but does have to prove at his effectiveness over this trip (all eight runs have come over a mile so far).

Verdict

Another handicap that will take some sorting out with Inexes likely to be happier back over 6f (he travels well but can be hard to win with). Ancient Astronaut and General Alexander look to be two very solid types who should run their race with Royal Connoisseur likely to be in the picture also given his run at Wetherby last time out. DANDYLEEKIE handles these conditions well (any further rain won’t bother him) and he showed up well last time off his highest winning mark and with the cheekpieces back on here he’s of interest for a yard going well at the moment.
