Plenty of promise shown in maidens over 7f and 1m but appeared to find the pace a bit too hot when a beaten favourite over 6f at Redcar last time. Looks feasibly-treated back over 7f for his handicap bow. Respected.
Good effort when a runner-up in blinkers over 1m here (soft) last back-end and shaped well when a close up sixth over 1m at Haydock (good to firm) on his return/handicap bow. Blinkers refitted now as he drops in trip, respected.
Twice a runner-up in 7f maidens and improved again when a 2L second behind Keepup Kevin over 1m (soft) at Newmarket on his handicap bow last time. Dropped 1lb and no surprise to see him on the premises.
Went close in a 6f maiden at Pontefract on her reappearance in April but just found wanting in two subsequent handicaps, including on first attempt at this trip at Lingfield (good to firm) last week. More needed.
Undone by 1m on soft ground at Newmarket last time but had gone close over an extended 7f (good to firm) at Beverley the time before and should win a race before long. Vulnerable to less exposed types, however.

Forecasts
Always Thankful (15/8), Wonder Of Dubai (2/1), Casina Di Notte (4/1), Envisaging (4/1), Valley of Rocks (5/1), Blue On Blue (11/2), Bequia (6/1), Golden Guest (8/1), Herm (14/1), Brother In Arms (16/1), Widnes (25/1), Sandwood Bay (25/1)
Probably a decent handicap in which recent C&D winner Blue On Blue, Envisaging and Wonder of Dubai all of have plenty to recommend them. If there is any value, however, it may lie with VALLEY OF ROCKS - Mark Johnston's only runner on the card - who looks feasibly-treated for his handicap debut as he returns to his optimum trip of 7f. Of the remainder, Herm makes each-way appeal.
