Verdict

This is potentially an ideal opening for Singapore Sling on his belated handicap debut with the Fanshawe yard going great guns but there is enough of a question mark against him to search elsewhere and INTRUDE fits the bill. Stuart Williams' charge was arguably a shade unlucky when a runner-up in a similar event over C&D last month and a repeat effort may suffice in this company. Recent Nottingham winner Thaqaffa is another obvious threat.
