30,000 guineas son of Poet's Voice out of winning dam who stayed up to 9f. Racecourse debut here. Yard not really known for debut juvenile winners but looks the part on paper.
23,000 guineas son of Aussie Rules who was green as grass on his racecourse debut at Doncaster recently but was noted staying on late as the penny dropped. Extra furlong should help and one very much for the short list
Purchased for £26,000 as a yearling. By top sprinter Choisir out of dam who won twice as a juvenile at up to 1m. Not beaten too far on debut and should have benefitted from the experience, Stable quiet at the moment.
Didn't get the run of the race on debut at Goodwood last week but did show some ability. Trainer has decent 17% strike rate at this track in recent years so one to consider.
Not shown a great deal in three starts to date. Early speed last time over 6f before fading fast. May do better when nursery handicaps come around.
18,000 euros purchase but has shown precious little in two starts so far, racing always in rear both times. Has a lot of improving to do to come into the reckoning.
Son of the speedy Society Rock but looked very green on only outing so far and likely to need more time before figuring at the business end of his races.
Cheaply bought Helvellyn gelding who has hinted at a modicum of talent in three estarts to date without ever threatening to get involved. Hard to fancy once again and will do better once handicapped.
£24,000 Mastercraftsman filly. Dam from family of St Leger winner Kingston Hill. First day at school today and expected to be better for the experience.
Sales price dropped by two-thirds from foal sale to yearling sale. £7,000 daughter of smart Bated Breath. Yard not known for debut juvenile winners and looks to have plenty on her plate.
Cheaply bought Harbour Watch filly but not disgraced in better race than this on debut at York nine days ago. Improvement needed, but not impossible she could raise her game and figure in this easier event.

With the Richard Fahey bandwagon continuing to roll on there is every chance his once-raced MABO will build on a satisfactory debut and take this opening event on the card. He wasn't beaten far at Doncaster and was getting the idea late on. Newcomer Byron's Choice is the most expensive purchase in the field and wouldn't have to be a superstar to get involved so is respected, as too is southern raider Another Day of Sun who was denied a clear run but still ran well enough on his Goodwood bow. Harvest Day and Mr Wagyu are others to consider.
