Irish raider, she was soundly beaten on her seasonal debut at Navan last month but is likely to have benefited from the run. Drops in trip and tries 6f for the first time, so possible she will respond positively to the initiative. Worth noting in the betting at least.
Best form has been recorded on undulating surfaces but she is on a winning mark and feasible that she can go close in this company. Significant rain would blight her chances and needs to show more interest than she did at Ripon last time out.
Set to race from 2lb lower than last winning mark but her starts this year have been way below her best. From a yard in good form but others make more appeal on this occasion.
Placed over C&D last October but her form took a dip afterwards. Similarly disappointing in three starts this year and in danger of becoming frustrating. Never got competitive at Hamilton last week and probably best watched just for now.
Solid effort at Hamilton last week - holds Reckless Serenade on that form - and going the right way. On a handy mark and likely to be kept busy by her yard now that she has started to pay her way.
Won a maiden at Newcastle last September but soon found herself struggling in handicaps. Now rated 10lb below her best and has something to prove after a poor showing on her seasonal return back at her beloved Gosforth Park. Any rain would also be a cause for concern.
Relatively unexposed at the trip and has dropped to a handy mark. One to consider if the vibes from the betting ring are positive.
Placed three times last summer but out of sorts since. Recent switch in yards has yet to reap a return and she looks one to be wary of just now.
Forecasts
Love Oasis (6/4), Duchess Of France (4/1), Reckless Serenade (11/2), Bloomin Lovely (8/1), Mininggold (11/1), Lotara (12/1), Sarabi (16/1), Harbour Lightning (28/1)
Mark Johnston is following a tried and trusted path in keeping LOVE OASIS busy and given that she dropped a significant hint that her time is near when a close second at Hamilton last week, the daughter of Oasis Dream is worth persevering with now she has topped up her fitness levels. Bloomin Lovely looks the main danger, while Duchess Of France and Mininggold have place claims at the weights and can scrap it out as the best of the rest.
- Love Oasis
- Bloomin Lovely
- Duchess Of France
