Mr Dinos gelding from an unraced dam, didn't show a lot in two point-to-point outings and best watched here unless there are market vibes in his favour.
A €15,000 3yo, Millenary gelding breeding suggests he'll be seen to best effect once meeting obstacles.
Went very close over this C&D on debut last June, though not really building on it in three runs since. Is fit from Ballinrobe run last month but has something to find currently.
Ashkalani half-brother to a winning pointer, finished last of ten on debut at Kilbeggan last month.
Has run eight times in point-to-points and failed to complete each time, first run under rules now but hard to imagine a winning start.
Close third of 14 at Wexford last month in similar event, form that entitles the mare to plenty respect in this context.
Beneficial mare makes was well beaten off last month on debut at Wexford and needs to improve to get involved at business end this time.
Went very close at Cork on debut in April over this trip, not as good since at Tipperary over further but remains one for the shortlist now.
Bred to be a staying chaser in time, and yard only have a 3% strike rate in these events, well beaten off last month on debut at Downpatrick.
Arcadio gelding, half-brother to modest 2m hurdle winner Cillian's Well. Stable have been doing well and certainly worth market check.
Mahler mare was acquired very cheaply, wears tongue strap on debut here and probably best watched on debut.
Alkaadhem filly represents a yard that do not have a vast array of bumper horses and not noted for sending out first-time winners. Best watched here unless market suggests otherwise.
Forecasts
Decision Time (8/11), Nana Joan (9/2), Ri An Rian (7/1), Max Moonhead (7/1), Game Risk (14/1), Marble Moon (25/1), Mangan Julia (25/1), Maple Lawn (33/1), Newtown Storm (40/1), The Diary Keeper (50/1), Wan Cool Dude (50/1), Step Forward (50/1)
Decision Time sets the benchmark on her Wexford debut and should be right in the mix while Nana Joan could also bounce back now returned to this trip that served her well at Cork on debut. The remainder set only a modest standard and so it could prove worth taking a chance on newcomer RI AN RIAN, whose trainer has been going well this season and the excellent rider on board will give the partnership every chance.
- Ri An Rian
- Decision Time
- Nana Joan
