Impressive on debut at Brighton but couldn't back that up in deeper waters at Ascot last time. Step up in trip may help and proven on an undulating track. Looks the type to bounce back and not discounted for a jockey who holds a 23.01% strike-rate around here.

Showcasing colt, cost 10,000 gns as a foal and £50,000 as a yearling. Improved for his debut with a smart front-running performance, upsetting an odds-on shot in the process and benefiting from a positive ride. Yard have an excellent record in this race and have won three of the last four renewals so should go well again; sets the standard on form

Looked like he needed his debut run and duly improved for that effort with a win at Brighton last time. That form level looks a little below what would normally be required to take this contest though.

Green when finishing third of eight on his debut at Pontefract but justified favouritism at Carlisle last time just getting up close to home. Looks like he'll appreciate this step up in trip but has a bit to find with the principles on form.

Trainer's juveniles typically going well again this year and he showed a game attitude to win on debut. Probably the stable's first-string not discounted.

Off the mark at the third attempt at Bath last time and connections appear to be targeting fast ground with the filly. Won easy enough last time but likely to be the stable's second string and there are bits of rain forecast so she may not get her lightning quick ground she won on last time.

Won on good-to-firm ground at Brighton two starts back but couldn't follow that up at Bath last time. Form level would appear to be below what's required here.
