Already an experienced handicapper (and previous winner unlike most of these) who went close over this C&D back in November. 2lb lower in the weights now, with the addition of a 5lb claimer, and is very appealing given his form on the all-weather.
Down to a career low mark once again following another lackluster performance at Windsor almost two months ago. Being given ample assistance by the handicapper but still seems to lack the quality to win a competitive contest such as this.
Yet to win a race but has been better since switched to handicaps and ran a very eye-catching race two starts ago. Slightly disappointing last time out when failing to justify favouritism but could put in a much better showing this time.
Slightly out-ran his price of 40/1 on handicap debut at Leicester last month, but didn't show enough to suggest that a victory is imminent, though he has been dropped 4lb.
Well beaten in three maidens and is difficult to fancy now given his opening mark, even with the assistance of a top all-weather jockey on his handicap debut.
Not much better since switching to handicaps from maiden/novice company and looks as if his mark will have to drop a fair bit more before he is able to land a blow.
4L beating into third was by far a career best at Newcastle last time and she now makes her handicap debut having proven she goes on Tapeta and off a fair mark. Has the wide draw to contend with but that more often than not isn't an issue at this course, and she should go close.
Not overly impressive in a trio of maidens when sent off at big prices but not totally disgraced either, and makes his handicap debut here off a fair mark in first time cheek pieces and with an attractive jockey booking.
Came very close to getting off the mark at this course over a furlong further earlier in the year. Drop down in trip now doesn't seem the obvious choice to aid her chances, but a first time hood could spark some improvement.
Put in a slightly better showing over 7f at Southwell last time having run mostly tame races up to that point, but is unlikely to find this sharper test will suit as well, and another minor role looks likely.
Slightly better when going off a low weight on handicap debut at Beverley last time, and steps up in trip here which could well suit. Would still be in the battle for a place at the very most, however.
Has beaten a very small percentage of her rivals home so far and has never been sent off at odds of smaller than 100/1 or been beaten less than 9L. No surprise if those trends continue here.

In a race lacking in quality but certainly not competitiveness, KINGS HEART is taken to defy top-weight. He went relatively close to winning over this C&D last year, and now carries much less weight both thanks to the handicapper and an apprentice jockey. With a relatively weak pace likely, if he is ridden prominently he could steal a lead on the field and secure a second career win. Most of the field are still looking for their first, including My Girl Maisie, who has already shown a liking for this surface, and Paquita Bailarina, who ran very well two starts ago before disappointing last time out.
