Not won since July 2015, but placed on numerous occasions since including on artificial surfaces around the turn of the year. Not so effective back on turf at Thirsk latest, but might well have needed that run. Never raced from a mark this low in a 58 race career.
Beat Justice Rock by 1½L at Chelmsford in March (6F) but races from a 4lb higher mark tonight, so his claimers 5lb allowance is most helpful. Proven on Tapeta (Wolverhampton), so has a chance.
Hard to win with, but has raced consistently here since winning over 7F in September 2016. A similar story switched back to turf lately, twice in the frame at Thirsk, and likely to be doing his best work late over this trip of 6F.
Stablemate of Cool Strutter and Gaelic Wizard and an eleven race maiden. A three time runner up for previous trainer Alan Bailey, but not so effective in four starts for this yard, but has dropped 11lb as a result.
Goes well at Thirsk, but unable to follow up his 2016 success in a 6F handicap at that track on his latest outing last month (finished seventh to The Armed Man). Work to do with Cool Strutter on that evidence, and although a three time AW winner, hasn't won on synthetics for quite some considerable time.
Veteran campaigner and an 18 time winner over the years, but has lacked much sparkle since winning at Wolverhampton in December 2016 (5F). Finished like a rocket here earlier that month when fifth to Novabridge and with this extra furlong to help could better that showing.
Ran a clear career best race when third to Black Hambleton over 7F in January, but unable to build upon that effort since. Beaten in a claimer latest, up 6lb in the weights and remains a maiden.
Finally broke her duck when winning over 5F at this track in March (Rated 46). Has shown she handles this trip with a couple of recent placed efforts on turf at Ayr, and whilst she's clearly of limited ability she runs her race more often than not so can't be criticised.
Not won since August 2015 (6F Carlisle) and broadly not at his best throughout 2016 despite a fair third at Catterick in August. More leniently treated on the AW, but that's because his synthetics record reads 1 from 11; with that victory coming on the Southwell Fibresand way back in 2012.
17 race maiden and has competed exclusively in Point-to-Points this year. Rated just 50 and a major surprise if he's capable of filling the frame let alone winning.
In decent form on the Southwell Fibresand during January, but off since (non runner on three occasions), so fitness a worry. Mixed form at this track so far, but not beaten too far when third over C&D in October.
One of three runners for this trainer, and remains a maiden despite 15 attempts. Has recorded a couple of placed efforts at this track which bring him into contention (twice third), but was beaten in a seller at Thirsk latest.
A nine time career winner, but this grey gelding appears to have badly lost his way since winning twice over this trip at Ayr in 2016 (May and July). Now rated just 42.

Forecasts
Hadley (9/2), Cool Strutter (9/2), Sandstream (15/2), Sea Of Green (8/1), Silver Bid (9/1), Wimboldsley (9/1), Tango Sky (10/1), Captain Scooby (12/1), Gaelic Wizard (12/1), Ypres (14/1), Dream Ally (20/1), Mighty Bond (20/1), Hab Reeh (25/1), Vecheka (33/1)
Unlikely to be any pointers for the future in this low grade sprint handicap, and a race in which five of the fourteen runners are maidens. Sea Of Green has form at this track and whilst an infrequent winner tends to run her race so can be considered whilst the enigmas that are Cool Strutter and Captain Scooby are each good enough on their day. A tentative vote is given to the top-weighted TANGO SKY. He's never previously competed from a mark as low as 60 in a 58 race career but he does know how to win races and can be excused a moderate showing at Thirsk recently.
- Tango Sky
- Sea Of Green
- Dream Ally
