Probably did not handle the track last time but has claims on his juvenile form which includes a runner-up spot in Listed company. Stable in form and rarely leave here emptyhanded.
Well-backed and obliged on debut on the AW at Newcastle but the form of that race hasn't worked out and she's duly struggled in two starts since. Something to prove now.
Handicapper has taken few chances in assessing this promising type. Outclassed his rivals in a modest Ripon maiden last time and drops in trip. Showed plenty of speed so that should not be a problem but this is the stiffest company he has faced. Hood worn last time is removed by trainer with 27-89 record here for a 27 points level stakes profit.
Going up the weights following some gallant efforts in defeat. This looks stronger than any of his three previous starts this season so he has his work cut out.
Progressive type who has won a couple of minor races in impressive style. Up in the weights but still looking fairly treated. Makes turf debut following a four month break but yard's horses are in good shape.
Upped an incredible 13lb for an impressive Nottingham success. May have found the ground against him last time but yard in excellent form and he has a chance to bounce back although others appeal as being better handicapped.

Yalawin (5/4), Evergate (4/1), Tomily (13/2), Yalta (7/1), Justanotherbottle (15/2), Ascot Day (8/1), Castleacre (10/1)
Ascot Day and Yalawin are progressive. The Simcock runner has to prove his effectiveness on turf and at this level of competition. Yalawin could hardly have been more impressive and, despite the handicapper taking few chances, he undoubtedly has the scope to make the progress needed to produce the career best that will be needed to grab this. Evergate is creeping up the weights without getting his head in front and that makes his prospects less obvious in what appears to be his most searching test of the campaign. YALTA represents a trainer who can do no wrong at present. His defeat of The Last Lion in the Molecomb Stakes earns him topweight but this Kings Stand entry, who likes to make the running, may have too much speed for his rivals.
