Was in receipt of plenty of weight when she won a claimer at Catterick last time out; has more to do under these terms, as she is still 4lb higher than her last win in a handicap. But this is a weak event and she is very capable of forcing her way into the frame, if not winning, in this company.
A consistent type with leading claims on the pick of her form. Has won from just a 1lb lower mark, so feasibly well treated just now. The betting will be a good indicator as to how wound up she is for this first start since January.
An admirably consistent individual that is capable of grinding out a result when conditions are in his favour. Nine of his career wins have been at Southwell, so he does have something to find now he switches back to turf. However, he copes with the surface and has won over 10f at this course, so cannot be discounted. Place claims once more.
Has adapted well to racing on turf and notable that she won here over 10f on her penultimate start. A 4lb higher mark looks fair but she does need to prove her stamina will hold out over this additional 2f. The betting may be a helpful guide.
Being kept busy and is just 3lb higher than for his win at Brighton just over three weeks ago. However, he was held off this mark at Doncaster last time out and needs to bounce back. Has been placed off higher marks, so no forlorn hope for an each-way punt if the price is right.
Won over an extended 1m 3f at Windsor last August but his form soon dipped. Starting to get some respite from the handicapper but was poor on his reappearance at the start of this month and makes limited appeal this time around.
Very modest form in the book recorded between 6f and 9f. Needs to improve greatly for this afternoon's big step up in trip. But her pedigree suggests she'll cope. Best efforts on turf have come with give in the ground.

A few of these can be hard to predict on turf but PERCYS PRINCESS at least arrives here in good heart and, with her confidence boosted by a win in claiming company last time out, she has been found a weak opening for a return to handicapping. The betting will be a good gauge for sorting the pecking order of the challengers, with Lady Of Yue the leading suggestion from the rest. She has been away from the action for a short while, so it may also be profitable to consider covering a corner with Angelical, who has already proved she likes this course and will be a big threat if her stamina holds out over the trip. The Lock Master is a consistent yardstick and will be waiting in the wings if any of the leading contenders fail to deliver.
