Cheaply bought daughter of Trans Island makes debut here. Half-sister to four winners on the Flat and over hurdles.
Has a pedigree that suggests plenty of stamina and may do better over fences in due course. Has shown very little so far in two starts in bumpers.
2000 euro daughter of Arakan who got very tired on her racecourse bow at Tramnore last June. Not seen since and likely to need more time.

Pulled up on only start in point-to-point in March and appears to have very little to enthuse over on this debut under rules.
Nothing on first two bumper starts but did a little better last time when 7th of 18 at Clonmel. Going the right way, but still has a long way to go.
Two starts in point-to-points to date, pulling up when well behind on most recent start. Looks to have plenty on her plate here.

Ran satisfactory race in bumper at Galway last summer on debut but disappointed in only subsequent outing. There does appear to be a little ability there though and worth noting for any market interest.
Represents top yard with fine record in these type of events. Half-sister to Westerner Lady, a useful performer in bumpers and over hurdles, so wouldn't have to be anything special to score on her debut.
Mid-division in two starts so far, shaping as though she needs time and will likely do better when facing at least eight obstacles.
Stowaway mare making raceourse bow. Related to a few winners and yard is in good form at the moment so worth casting a glance at any market interest.
Inauspicious racecourse debut when saddle slipped and had to be pulled up at Clonmel recently. Dam from the family of Cab On Target, amongst others.
22,000 euro purchase making racecourse bow in this event. Dam unraced full sister to the useful Tour Des Champs. Likely to finish with more behind than in front.
Daughter of Ascot Gold Cup legend Yeats but is half-sister to six winner on the Flat at up to a mile. Hard to assess on debut and others make more appeal.

Signs of some ability on racecourse bow at Cork earlier this month when not knocked about in midfield. May have place prospects if coming on for that run.
Thrown in at the deep end and not disgraced in Grade 3 on debut at Punchestown this spring, then went close last time when runner-up at Killarney. Experience could count and has to be on the short list.

Forecasts

Sapphire Lady (9/10), The Princetonian (2/1), Corcadia (8/1), Cantseeforlooking (20/1), Misskymdee (22/1), Flamingo's Court (25/1), Fi's Choice (25/1), Dynamic Allen (25/1), Gemma's Flame (33/1), Tintown Rose (33/1), Gameasapebble (66/1), Cherryade (66/1), Superefficient (66/1), Charlotte Wells (100/1), Boolavondream (100/1)

Verdict

With a couple of good efforts under her belt a chance is taken that THE PRINCETONIAN will be just a shade too canny for her likely main market rival Sapphire Lady. The latter is bred to be decent and represents a yard with a great record in this type of race. Flamingo's Court might be worth a glance after hinting at ability first time out, and Misskymdee, Tintown Rose and Gameasapebble are others who could make a race of it.
  1. The Princetonian
  2. Sapphire Lady
  3. Flamingo's Court
