Looked a tad ungainly when winning a four-runner race at Brighton last time out, so may have her own ideas about the game. This looks tougher and she won't get away with any half measures in a tougher contest.
Better effort when upped to 10f last time out, creating the impression she is capable of holding her own at this level. One to keep on the right side.
Gelded since last seen out but is likely to be well suited by this step back to 10f; yard in good form, so interesting if supported in the betting.
Consistent at this sort of level and will be a threat to all if the application of a hood for the first-time works the oracle.
Fared well in defeat against some potentially decent types last time out but will be more at home over this longer trip. Unexposed for his handicap debut and is a leading candidate in this company.
Took a while to get the hang of things as a juvenile but has already proved he has trained on and may improve now his stamina is put under more scrutiny. The betting will be a help but he would appear to be the main hope from the yard's two contenders.
Won well at Southwell last time out and is respected for the manner of her performance. This looks a lot tougher and, given that she also makes her debut on turf, she has a bit to prove over this longer trip.
Rounded off last year with a couple of solid efforts but was well held from his revised mark on his seasonal return at Nottingham last month. More to do here and others appear to hold more scope at this stage.

Forecasts
Fields Of Fortune (5/2), Gunmaker (5/2), Alnasl (5/1), Amelia Dream (11/2), Cartavio (10/1), Penny Red (10/1), Harry Beau (12/1), Phoenix Dawn (16/1), Kyllachys Tale (20/1)
A good bit of guesswork involved in assessing the stamina limitations of a few of these, so the betting is hopefully going to be a useful guide. GUNMAKER does look the part after holding his own against some decent types over what has a patently obvious inadequate trip last time. The extra distance can help him get into a a more fluent rhythm and he could easily be the best of the bunch on this occasion. Amelia Dream has proved she can cope over the trip and also comes into the reckoning as one for the shortlist, while Harry Beau is a good yardstick and can be relied upon to make the rest pull out all the stops if he runs his usual race.
- Gunmaker
- Amelia Dream
- Harry Beau
