Won handicaps at Doncaster and Newcastle last year and returned from a break to run a fine second at York last week. He finished well clear of the third that day, so the form looks solid, but the downside is a 4lb rise in the weights which makes life tough.
Returns from a spell of hurdling, but was in fair form when last seen on the Flat, including when second, beaten a short head, over 2 miles at this track last July. Feasibly handicapped on that run, but is not getting any better at his age.
Only two wins have come on the AW, but she has been placed four times in six outings on turf and she ran well off 1lb lower to be second at Doncaster earlier this month. May have been unsuited by soft ground at Bath last time and is likely to give it a bold shot from the front.
Won over C&D last September, but has been unable to repeat that success off higher marks. Has run respectably on his last three starts without suggesting victory is imminent. Positive jockey booking offers hope, however.
Four-times a winner on turf, but has not beaten a horse on his last two starts. Dropping down the weights, but needs a major revival to figure.
Has responded positively since being visored over hurdles, winning twice and finishing third in a competitive Haydock handicap. His mark on the Flat has been falling so if he can replicate his improvement over jumps on the level, then he must have major claims.
Experienced campaigner who usually finds a race every season, but has been struggling a little off his current mark. Ran a fair race at Catterick last time, but may need to drop a few pounds.
A winner over hurdles for Gordon Elliott, he also won on the Flat for Jessica Harrington as a 3yo. Has shown very little in two Flat starts and one hurdle for his current yard and is best watched for the time being.
Ran well to be third off this mark over C&D last time. Had also shown her liking for this track when winning over 2m last August and has to be considered.

Cosmic Tigress is entitled to plenty of respect given her good course form. She can go well off bottom weight, while at the other end of the handicap Purple Rock and Star Of Lombardy boast recent form which puts them firmly in the mix. However, GREAT FIGHTER has improved markedly since being fitted with a visor over hurdles and if the headgear does the trick on the Flat then he has to go close here off his falling handicap mark.
