Made some progress though unable to lay down significant challenge in 1m maiden at the Curragh (good) this month, upped in trip and could improve.
Majestic Missile filly has plenty of stamina in her pedigree, yard is without winner from 40 attempts on the Flat in the previous 12 months.

A €40,000Y half-sister to several winners, including 5f/6f winner Love Intrigue, she was seventh of nine in 7f AW maiden at Dundalk on debut recently. May progress over longer trip.

Elusive Quality filly cost €40,000 as a 2yo and she made a promising start at the Curragh ten days ago when third of 15. There could well be more to come and hails from excellent quarters.

Galileo filly, half-sister to the useful Awesome Star and Street Secret and dam was placed in Listed company. Didn't show much over C&D recently on second start, first on turf, and has a bit of work to do on that evidence.

Improved effort over this trip at Clonmel earlier in the month on good to firm ground, finishing second to convincing winner have made running. That was just a third start and there could be more to come.

Daughter of Zebedee rather missed the break on debut at Killarney over 1m on yielding ground a week ago. Didn't run badly there considering and has scope for better.

Very tame efforts in two starts thus far, one on AW at Dundalk and nine days ago over 1m2f (good) at the Curragh. Best watched at the moment.

Galileo filly represents powerful connections but yet to show much in three maidens. Front running tactics didn't pay off at the Curragh over a mile ten days ago.

Alfred Nobel filly is this yard's first runner on the Flat for more than a year, hard to be confident in chances and surely will be better for the run.

Teofilo filly made an encouraging debut in a C&D maiden last month, represents a trainer and jockey going well and should be capable of having a big say with normal improvement.

Might well have got the job done on second start over 1m3f at Limerick late last month but for a bit of argy-bargy at a crucial time. Recovered and stayed on well for second, looks a big player in this.

This Fastnet Rock filly is going to have to improve significantly on last month's reappearance effort over 1m½f at Cork on testing ground to get off the mark. In trouble a fair way out then, she was beaten close to 10L.

New Approach filly cost 60,000 gns as a yearling and commands a check in the betting for this debut, one of two for the yard and should prove up to be competitive.
Third of 15 in 1m2f Curragh maiden on decent ground this month on debut run. Represents top connections and absolutely no shock to see improvement here, is one to consider.

Galileo filly ran well enough in what has turned out a decent 7f maiden at Leopardstown in September. Off since and going up in trip for reappearance, she's got to be treated with respect giving trainer/jockey combo.

Forecasts

Lovemenot (3/1), Switch In Time (7/2), Spring Garden (5/1), Araca (6/1), Modern Approach (9/1), Detailed (14/1), Ruby Quest (14/1), Satisfy (16/1), Grey Willow (25/1), Always Dancing (25/1), Daisy Domergue (25/1), Jills Back (33/1), Jigsaw (50/1), Awesome Gal (50/1), Isabella Vite (66/1), Majestic Flo (66/1)

Verdict

This has the appearance of being a fairly hot maiden to kick proceedings off. Switch In Time ran in decent contest over shorter at Leopardstown in the autumn and should be capable of much better upped in trip for these connections. Spring Garden is another with potential to well on the back of a much more recent debut run, as is Lovemenot who hit the frame on C&D debut last month. This might fall to MODERN APPROACH however, the daughter of New Approach might not even be in this but for a significant bump late on that halted her progress when narrow runner-up at Limerick last time. She can atone for that misfortune now.
  1. Modern Approach
  2. Lovemenot
  3. Switch In Time
