Won a Bangor handicap in emphatic style in December and showed form akin to that last time out after a couple of more moderate runs. Confirmed that Bangor form was no fluke and shaped like the best horses at the weights an may well appreciate this slightly shorter trip.
Hood goes on for the first time for this bumper winner who has shown some aptitude for hurdling although has been well held of late. The increased trip brings about hope that he may improve a little.
Returns from a long break but had moved yards and now under the care of a yard who have been making hay in the early part of the new jumps season. Was second on his last start and unlikely to be missed in the market.
There was some promise in his return from a long absence at Ludlow in April with cheekpieces on. Headgear left off last time out at Kempton Park running a very flat race and being flattered by his final placing.
Another returning from an absence who wore blinkers when winning on his penultimate start over hurdles. Ran well over fences in his following start and this yard are no stranger to landing a gamble with one of an absence.
Not the easiest sort and can look an awkward ride (no surprise to see different headgear). Has only found some well-handicapped and improving sorts too good on his last two runs but his attitude can hold him back.
The switch to handicaps over hurdles has shown this useful Flat performer in better form and despite a 5lb rise he still looks capable of getting involved.
Looked to have a chance in a recent Warwick handicap hurdle but rather a rather tame race and comes here with questions to answer.
Very solid run albeit off a mark that favoured her when last seen but that was quite some time ago and she may need this run off a break.
Made his handicap debut last time out bit still showed very little and has to run from 1lb out of the weights here.

Forecasts
Petrou (15/8), Miss Mash (9/2), Scales (8/1), Chevalgris (8/1), Dolly Diamond (10/1), I'llhavealook (11/1), Get Home Now (12/1), Bermeo (14/1), Deise Diamond (14/1), Brass Monkey (14/1), Western Storm (16/1), On Alberts Head (25/1), Dirty Dexter (66/1)
Two of those returning from a long break in Bormeo and Petrou are interesting here especially given the yards that they come from with Chevelgris another that should be able to get involved. Western Home looks capable of further progress over this trip but top weight gives him a tough task and in the end it’s MISS MASH who gets the vote after she returned to something like her winning form last time out.
- Miss Mash
- Petrou
- Bermeo
