Son of Lope De vega out of a dam who won five races. Has shown promise in a couple of maidens but meets fitter rivals and almost certainly will do better over further.
Son of Delegator out of a dam who was the winner of three sprints and bought for 20,000 gns. Highly tried on debut but worth watching with an eye to the future.
Sea The Stars half-brother to a winner in Japan. Has shown signs of ability in both starts but appears to need more time and form falls short of the standard that is going to be required.
Frankel colt out of a dam who won three races and who has produced some useful winners such as After and Temps Au Temps. Stepped up on his debut effort when allowed to make the running last time but that form still leaves him with something to find. Open to improvement with experience.
Finished clear of the third when gallantly attempting to make all here last time. Just touched off by a Varian hotpot that day and looks set to face another here. Extra furlong should not be a problem and yard are showing signs of hitting form.
Disappointing when forced to make the running and beaten at Thirsk on reappearance but it subsequently appears as though he ran into a good horse that day who has run well in defeat since. Taken to post early that day and wears a hood so possibly none too straightforward. Yard are 6-19 with three-year-olds here.
Made a marked improvement on his debut run when runner-up in a Newbury maiden (1m, good to soft) in October. Gelded during the winter and again runner-up (by 6L over 1m) at Lingfield last month. Finished ahead of both 80 and 79-rated runners there, so is very likely to be a leading contender in this. Yard are 11-30 with this age group here and jockey has 14-47 record for them.
Cost 10,000 gns being out of a dam who won over 1m2f and has produced a couple of winners. Not knocked about on his Thirsk debut but needs to have improved significantly for that run to be involved here. Stable in good form with a couple of winners at York last week.
£19,000 purchase has been off the track for almost a year having finished down the field on both starts to date. Yard had a 33/1 winner at Beverley last week and it would be a shock of even greater proportions if he were to prove good enough to take this.

Materialist was a costly failure last time when going down without too much of a fight. It was a similar story on his juvenile debut and there must be concerns regarding his temperament. It is possible he is just immature but he remains one to be cautious about until getting his head in front. MATHIX represents a stable that place their horses well here and the jockey booking also catches the eye given his excellent strike rate for them. The gelding has run into a couple of smart horses on his last two starts and clearly has the ability to win a race of this standard. Lamloom made a brave bid to make all last time and is feared with his yard hitting form.
