Off the mark at Lingfield in final 2yo start in 1m AW maiden, tough start to life in handicaps this season in couple of 1m2f Newmarket contests and probably in need of some relief from the handicapper before opening account in this sphere.
Step up to a mile at Newmarket recently seemed to eke out some improvement, cheekpieces applied for first time here and down in trip, could be involved in the finish.
Improved markedly on his second outing when taking a mile maiden at Newcastle in September. Looks the type to carry on improving as he makes his first start in handicaps off what looks to be a fair mark.
Newcastle maiden winner over 1m on the AW, well beaten off in a Derby Trial at Epsom over 1m2f last month, could be one to do better now handicapping for the first time.
Won maiden on the AW at Kempton over 7f and didn't fare too badly on handicap bow upped to the mile at Chelmsford, finishing fourth. Needs more to take this prize.

CITY OF JOY probably would have won a shade easier over the mile here a fortnight ago but for suffering some interference in mounting his challenge. Gelded over the winter, he looks a strong proposition and may continue to go the right way by defying his increased mark in this contest. High Acclaim showed up well at Newmarket on reappearance and can also be involved along with Colibri and Mandarin.
