Five race maiden and an official rating of 45 looks generous to say the least. Well beaten on his return to action over this trip at Thirsk last month, and tough task at these weights in a classified stakes.
Ran well enough when fifth to Rita's Man at Redcar recently (Fairy Lock and Champion Harbour run at 7.55pm) and could be suited by this new trip on AW debut.
Little promise in maidens, and well beaten by Cosmic Sky when twelfth behind Rita's Man on handicap debut at Redcar earlier this month. Dropped 5lb for AW debut.
Didn't fare too badly when fourth to Scuzeme in a 5F maiden here in January, but unable to build upon that effort since switched to handicaps. Up in trip, gelded and down the weights, so some reasons for a better performance if it arrives.
Hasn't finished in front of too many rivals in three starts in maidens but capable of improvement at a more realistic level, but overall needs to show more.
Left Ed McMahon after his third start in November 2016, and probably produced a career best on stable debut when seventh of 17 to Pursuing Steed over this trip at Leicester last week. One of the likelier types.
Tough assignments at York on her first two starts but tailed off eighth of ten over C&D when last in action in June 2016. Starts off life as a three-year-old rated just 50.
Blinkered for the first time now dropped in grade, but has made little impression in three starts in maidens, not beating a single rival home the past twice.
Beaten approx 4L when fourth on handicap debut to African Grey over C&D on his penultimate start in March and again posted a solid enough run at Kempton (1m) latest in the context of this company. Rated just 51, but makes the short-list with his trainers jumping stock in fine fettle.
Steps up in trip having raced previously over 5F and 6F and being by Invincible Spirit, that should suit. Makes the long journey North, and has the hood applied for the first time at a realistic level.
Nose runner up to Termsnconditions on handicap debut and seasonal reappearance at Lingfield in March, but raced keenly under an inexperienced rider when beaten at Kempton just a few days later. Cheek-pieces applied and tackles 7F for the first time.
Finished third in a Lingfield maiden in February (6F), but that wasn't the strongest event and has shown little worthwhile form since (including in handicaps).

Lesanti (7/2), Pick Of Any (7/2), Highly Focussed (4/1), Rey Loopy (11/2), Cosmic Sky (8/1), King Otto (8/1), Sir Harry Collins (9/1), My Girl Maisie (10/1), Flying Onsite (14/1), Sparkling Cossack (14/1), Pipe Dreamer (14/1), Seneca Chief (14/1), Ivy Matilda (33/1), Lukoutoldmakezebak (66/1)
Very similar to the 7.55pm contest, and this low grade Classified Stakes makes little appeal as a betting proposition, but there has to be a winner. The race surely rests between the eleven three-year-old's with the likes of Lesanti and Rey Loopy likelier types. However, a chance is taken on the Daniel Kubler trained SENECA CHIEF, with this new trip and the application of a first time hood possible reasons to expect some improvement.
- Seneca Chief
- Lesanti
- Rey Loopy
