Four times a winner of 6f, though never over this trip from five attempts. Stayed on to finish fifth in a similar event over C&D on debut for this yard last month but drawn much worse now.
Three-time C&D winner, though never off a mark this high. Has steadily improved with each run this season, beaten little more than 2L at Pontefract last time and not hard to envisage a big run from a plum draw.
Three times a winner earlier in his career but has now gone 32 runs without a success. That said, he hasn't been beaten far in his most recent starts and he should again be competitive from a mark which continues to fall.
Only success from 21 starts came over 5f at Pontefract (good to firm) last summer but not disgraced on his reappearance there last month and should strip fitter now. Draw far from ideal, however.
Better than a strike-rate of just one win from 21 starts suggests but his consistency means the handicapper can't let go. Good effort to finish runner-up at Pontefract (5f, good to firm) latest and should be a player from a favourable draw.
Experienced campaigner who has a C&D win to his credit (soft ground) and ran well when just behind Henley at Pontefract on his reappearance. Should come on for that and no surprise to see him fight out the finish.
Twice a winner over 5f for Ralph Beckett as a juvenile but lost his way a little last season, despite finishing the campaign with a fair effort at Bath. Possibly best watched on reappearance for a new yard.
Has yet to really build on that promise he showed to win at Catterick as a juvenile and he hasn't been sighted since a poor effort over 7f at Newcastle almost a year ago. Hard to build a case for.
Twice a winner at Carlisle last season off this sort of mark but has struggled badly in both starts this season, finishing a long way behind Henley and Jack Luey at Pontefract. Much more needed.
Eight-time scorer who won this race from a higher mark two years ago. Ran better than the bare result suggests on his return from a 16 month absence over C&D last month and should strip fitter now. Interesting.
Gained just her second win from 31 starts when scoring under this rider over 6f at Nottingham (good) last week. Wouldn't appear to be an obvious one to follow-up under a penalty but respected in her current mood all the same.
Decent strike-rate and advertised current well-being by swooping late to win over 5f at Lingfield on the polytrack last time out in March. Raised 4lb but hard to discount from a workable draw.
Won a seller over C&D as a juvenile and, though he has popped up on occasions since, he hasn't had his head in front for 19 starts now. Lacklustre reappearance at Thirsk and is hard to fancy.

Henley (11/4), Vimy Ridge (5/1), Jack Luey (6/1), Socialites Red (13/2), Bond Bombshell (7/1), Point Of Woods (12/1), Thatcherite (14/1), Ticks The Boxes (14/1), Oriental Splendour (18/1), Imperial Legend (20/1), Red Invader (22/1), Total Power (25/1), Twentysvnthlancers (40/1), Tinsill (50/1)
A competitive race in which Henley and Jack Luey have to be considered having each shown up well in a similar event at Pontefract last time. Last time out winners Socialites Red and Red Invader are also respected but multiple C&D winner BOND BOMBSHELL is steadily coming to hand and could take some stopping from a plum draw.
- Bond Bombshell
- Jack Luey
- Red Invader
