Ran a fine race on his season reappearance to finish a close sixth in a much better race than this. Remains on the same mark now and as a dual winner at two (including in a fair looking handicap), he brings some of the more solid form claims to the race as he steps up to a mile for the first time.
Ran a fair race in a Yarmouth handicap last time out (1m, good to firm), and remains on the same mark here. Continues to show signs of inexperience in his races and if his trainer is able to sort that then there could be plenty more improvement to come.
Ran an eye-catching race when fifth on debut at York in the richest maiden of the British season (won by subsequent Group 1 winner Rivet), and went on to run two solid races after that. Only 3L behind Atty Persse at Sandown last time and his form is stacking up well.
Narrow maiden winner on debut at Brighton last September (7f, good to firm), having run green for a long way that day. Could improve for the step up in trip from the lowest draw of all, but does have to overcome a longer lay-off than most.
Ran a fair race to finish 10th in a tightly-grouped finish in the Sandown handicap won by Atty Persse last time out. Down 2lb for that with the jockey claiming a further 3lb, but he did have a few of these ahead of him that day and there's no obvious reason for the form to be reversed.
Maiden winner at Kempton at the first time of asking last month, and makes his handicap debut here. Shaped as if the extra furlong would suit on that occasion and should come on for that run off an opening handicap mark that seems fair.
Off the mark at Wolverhampton last time out in a maiden auction when sent off the odds-on favourite. This is much tougher and he hasn't been given too much help by the handicapper, but he has shown plenty of promise.
Secured a hat-trick on the all-weather over the winter but that did nothing to help his handicap rating and he finished last on his return to the turf at Bath last time out. Looks far too high in the weights now.
Justified odds-on favouritism when last seen at Bath last month (1m, firm), despite starting poorly. Retains cheek pieces for his handicap debut here, and though there could be easier starting points he has plenty of scope for further improvement.
Narrow winner of a mediocre maiden and a low-grade handicap at two before finishing down the field in a Newmarket nursery handicap. Starts over 1m for the first time on this seasonal reappearance but difficult to fancy on the evidence of her last run and has the absence to contend with as well.
Makes his turf debut here having gotten off the mark at Chelmsford in March when not looking short of speed over 6f, before not getting involved on his handicap debut at Chelmsford last month. Down 2lb but others hold more convincing claims.
Did well once switched to handicap company as a juvenile, running consistently well in his races despite having gone up 12lb altogether. Outran his odds once again at Chelmsford last time to finish third and holds place claims if able to build on that.
1/8 in his career so far but has gone close on a number of other occasions, including when only 1¾L behind Atty Persse at Sandown last time out at odds of 50/1. Looked like the step up in trip had helped there and he can't be ruled out ground that he should enjoy.
Didn't show too much convincing form as a juvenile, with his one win coming in a small-field handicap at Goodwood. Now down to just 1lb above that winning mark but this race is a different proposition altogether.
Put in an improved effort in a Nottingham maiden to finish second on his seasonal reappearance last month. Makes his handicap debut now in conditions that should suit and though another step forward would be required to win, a bold bid is anticipated.
Narrowly off the mark at Chelmsford last August but hasn't managed to back that win up since. Remains on the same mark as when beaten 2½L in a Kempton handicap last time and may come up short here from not the easiest of draws.

This is a very open looking handicap where many of the contenders ran behind Atty Persse in a high-quality affair at Sandown last time out. FIRST UP didn't finish the highest of those but has shaped with the most promise throughout his short career so far, having finished fifth behind Rivet in the richest maiden of the British Flat season at York during the Ebor meeting, and only building on that promise since (despite only winning once race so far). He is taken to get the better of debut maiden winner Yamarhaba Malayeen, who won with something in hand on debut and could be off a lenient mark here, and Endless Gold, who seems to be taking a little longer to warm to the task than some but is now improving nicely.
