Has been in good firm on the AW at Dundalk of late winning there in March over 1m3f (wore blinkers). Headgear left off for his last two wins but still looks in good heart and the blinkers worn for his last six wins return here around a course that he has won on before. Versatile and relatively consistent sort in this grade and capable of winning off this mark.

Winner of an AW maiden on his debut over 7f he made a good start to life in handicaps despite a difficult draw and has run two more creditable races in that sphere since. Generally races off the pace and although he's not bred to could be suited by his first try at this trip if what looks to be a decent mark.

Dundalk regular whose only win so far came over a mile there on her second handicap start off a mark of 58. Form since has been rather hit and miss and this mark looks a little too testing for her.

His rather weak finish at Beverley last time out probably underlined why he's only won one of his 18 starts. Often travels well but never appears to be one to trust in a finish and quite possibly is better on the AW than turf with his one win so far coming on Tapeta.

Remains a maiden having shown a little ability when with Charles Hills although his form did tail off for that yard. Now with a new yard that do well with this type (probably still trying to find the key to him though) and trying a longer trip here. Did catch the eye at Beverley last time out though (behind Strummer) but it wouldn't be a surprise if he improved and reversed that form off a career low mark.

Hardly a winning machine with his two wins so far well spaced out with the last coming at Leicester last year over this trip in a race that was run to suit. Looked as though he was back to near his best last time out when third again at Leicester (needed stronger gallop) and his prospects always depend on not getting too far back and being able to pick up the leaders.

Only real form he showed last year came on his first start at Redcar (mile, heavy) but he never really followed that up. His best turf form appears to have come with give in the ground and not seen on the Flat since August last year although he has shown a little more spark over hurdles of late.

Five-time Flat winner but the losing run is now starting to stack up despite him tuning in some creditable placed efforts. Creeping back down towards his last winning mark but has to overcome a long break here against some race fit rivals.

Had a couple of former trainers in Ireland which is where he recorded his two career wins but hasn't really shown much for this yard so far in four runs. Yet to be tried in headgear for this yard that he usually wore in Ireland.

Started at big prices in all her maiden start and has fared little better for the move into handicaps. Has had two runs in this sphere so far and been well held in both with slow starts often putting her on the back foot early on.

Verdict

A low grade but intriguing handicap with a few that could take a step forward. Irish raider Six Silver Lane is a consistent sort and with the blinkers back on must be considered for a trainer who has done well here in the past. Strummer will probably flatter to deceive once more while a strong gallop would increase the chances of Stoneboat Bill who looks to be coming back to form. Visitant looks the type to pick up a handicap off whet looks to be a decent mark although the trip is a doubt but overall ARITHMETIC is the most interesting given how well he went at Beverley and he could well open his account here.
